Minority Rule
Objective: Become the last player standing by correctly answering yes-or-no questions!
OVERVIEW
1. Each player will receive a 100m yen loan. This money is paid into a pot.
2. At the game start, all players will receive ‘A’ and ‘B’ signatures for signing contracts, one of which the Dealer will privately identify as binding for them. [Ex: nbkiller-A (binding), nbkiller-B (False)]
3. Each turn will last for 48 hours, with a time limit of 7 turns
4. Each turn, players must submit a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ answer to the purposed question via Tengaged Mail. If all players submit their answer before the deadline, the round will end early. If you don’t want this to happen, let me know, and the round will continue until the deadline.
5. At the end of the round, all players will have their answer revealed publicly.
6. The players who choose the answer with more votes lose and are eliminated from Minority Rule and will go to Revival Round 1. If the vote is a tie (or unanimous), no players will lose.
7. Players may sign contracts with other players ONLY to split prize money. Please see the ‘Contracts & False Signatures’ section for more details.
a. Players who lose are still entitled to prize money if their name is on a winning contract.
8. If a player is inactive, meaning does not submit an answer in a turn, that player will automatically lose and cannot receive any prize money. Inactive players do not count towards the vote for that turn.
CONTRACTS & FALSE SIGNATURES
1. This game accepts contracts. The only acceptable contracts are limited to the division of prize money should one of the signatories win.
2. All signatories must submit the same contract to the Dealer, otherwise, it will not be approved.
a. Contracts submitted must be an exact duplicate of each other. If you alone misspell a word, the contract will not be approved. Please use copy-paste.
b. Sending a contract through a group message and everyone saying “I Agree” will NOT count as a submitted contract. All contracts must be sent by individual tengaged mail to the dealer. (The dealer should be the only one the mail is sent to).
3. All signatories' binding OR false signature must appear somewhere on the contract.
a. Using a false signature means the contract does not apply to you.
b. Signatures must be the same on ALL copies, including the A or B signatures. Otherwise it will not be approved.
4. All binding signatures cannot force you to pay out more than half the pot. (Ex: In an 8 player game, you may not pay out more than 400m when the total pot is 800m). If you try to submit a binding contract that forces you over the limit, the LGT will not approve the contract.
5. The LGT will try to approve and notify all signatories within 24 hours but may have to delay approval for various reasons including player fault or contract fault. The LGT is not obligated to explain any delays or pause the game to approve contracts. The LGT will work with players or notify signatories involved in the contract if necessary.
6. The LGT will notify all signatories through tengaged mail when the contract has been approved. The LGT will mail a copy of the contract for confirmation.
ENDGAME AND PAYOUTS
1. The game will continue until only one (1) or two (2) players remain. Those players are the winners of Minority Rule and will move to Round 2. All others will go to Revival Round 1.
2. If more than 2 players remain after 7 turns, ALL players lose and will go to Revival Round 1.
3. The LGT will NOT announce the total payouts. Instead, signatories to a contract involving the winning player will be notified on an individual basis the total payout received.
4. Payouts to a false signature and payouts to inactive players will not be made.
