People at my work were complaining that the technical challenges are becoming too obscure. Do you agree?

I am working for the government at the moment, in tax. Exciting lol.

Technical challenges in bakeoff. The contestants have to make something blind - they don't know what they are making until they are making it and have minimal instructions, not as detailed as a recipe book, then they are judged on it. I think it is supposed to judge how the bakers can use basic theory e.g. what size to make something, and their intuition.

06) Miss World - Started off OK, but not really my thing.

08) Anna of the North - 'Oslo'

It's OK! Last season one of the things they made was marshmallow teacakes which are very popular in the UK. Apparently this season the technicals are obscure things most people haven't heard of.

I've never heard of a marshmallow teacake.
