This Power of Veto competition is called “Head to Hex”, and here’s how it works.
In this competition, you will compete in an online board game known as ‘Hex’, on the Board Game Arena website. It will require you to set up an account and set up game tables to face each other on, but we will run through how that works when we begin.
You will play in head to head heats, rotating who you play as we go through, so that each player faces each of their five opponents once.
The game itself – “Hex” – requires you to strategically place your own color hexagons in order to make a complete path from one side of the board to the other, without being blocked by the other player’s own hexagons. With the way the board is formatted, it is not possible for a tie to occur, so there will be a victor in every head to head bout.
The player that wins the most head to head duels wins the Power of Veto!
In the case of a tie, one or more run-off rounds will be played until we have an outright victor.
