Tonight, you are playing “Target practice” and here’s how it works:
There is a grid with 50 spaces on it. Every person on your team will get to hide behind a spot on the grid (Absol and Brittany you will get to hide behind 2 spots each). You will message me which spot you want to hide behind BEFORE 7pm EST when the game will begin.
Each round, I will count you down and post a question/statement (general knowledge, entertainment, about KTCS, etc). The first FOUR people to mail me a different answer will earn guesses that round and get to shoot a target on the grid out of the game.
The number of earned shots will lessen throughout the game.
EXAMPLE: If I ask for directions on a compass:
- The first person to send east, the first person to send west, the first person to send south, the first person to send north will score. If you are the second person to send an answer, you will not score.
SUBMITTING YOUR GUESS: Your guess will only count if it is CORRECT and you also tell me which number spot you want to shoot. If your submission is missing one of these two things, it will not count.
Once you have been shot out of the game, you can no longer compete. ALSO, I will announce who earned the shots each round, but not who shot which target. If you earn a shot in the round, you can NOT compete in the following one (unless your team is down to one person).
The first team to lose all four of their people will be sent directly to the Asylum, while the last team standing will form the round’s institution.
RULES:
- You must mail me (Kennel123) your answer to the question AND which number on the grid you would like to shoot for your guess to count
- If you score in one round, you CAN NOT score in the following round unless you are the last person remaining from your team
- You have one minute to submit a guess per round
- Spelling COUNTS, capitalization does NOT COUNT
- You will still get your guess if you have been shot out in the same round
TIEBREAKERS:
- If you and another team both lose your fourth spot in the same round, the team who earned the most shots throughout the competition will win the tie
- If neither of the bottom two teams in a tie earned a shot in the game, the team who sends a correct answer first in the round they are both shot out in will win the tie
- If the last two people standing are under the same spot, the team who submits a correct answer first in the final round will form the institution
