survivor: second chances gave 18 past players an opportunity to play the game they love again and take advantage on past mistakes and unlucky breaks. the 1st twist of the game had 3 all star players return. those players were noraw, rstar and skiitles. other famous past players like ireks, gaiaphage and bcl also returned. yet other players like thestan and jesusfreak were out to make a name for themself. the 3 all star players chose the tribes. rotu got off to a horrible start partly cuz they voted out the wrong people. jflora, bcl, swimboy and koolman were casualties on that tribe. with just noraw and ados remaining, rotu dissolved and those 2 split up. soliantu lost the next challenge but got to pick who they wanted on their tribe. they chose ados to replace bryce. joel then got medically evacuated from maraamu and noraw replaced him. with 12 left, it was a fight for #s going into the merge. soliantu came out on top and noraw felt like it was going to b his time. instead, the other maraamu members decided to sacrifice their most innactive member in greenivo instead. wen soliantu lost next, they decided to do the same thing to tyler and spare ados. then the merge came with 10 left. a twist allowed soliantu to have the #s and have a chance to knock out rstar. BUT, ireks decided to betray soliantu and go with an alliance he made with rstar at the beginning of the game and vote piggly out. with 9 left, ireks and noraw basically switched tribes and maraamu had the #s 5-4. ireks won immunity and was becoming an immunity threat. skiitles still thought ireks was on his side and wanted a usa vs the world alliance to succeed. ireks was skiitle's demise however and skiitles became 1st member of the jury. next tribal council, the maraamu 4 decided it was time to blindside ireks. they told him to vote out thestan and he did. the other 4 wrote his name down and sent him to the jury with an idol in his pocket. in the final 7, rstar won his 2nd immunity. noraw had an idol and he played it to save himself. however due to a lack of communication, they could not blindside 1 of the maraamu 4 and ados ended up getting voted out. with 6 left, noraw was simply picked off wen thestan won immunity. thestan knew he had to keep winning otherwise he would join his soliantus on the jury. he had a clutch moment in the final 5 and ended up causing a maraamu 4 to go home. this ended up being jesusfreak due to his heroism. in the final 4 it was a battle between rstar and thestan for immunity. rstar was able to top thestan and caused him to get voted out. in the final 3, a 48 hour challenge caused 49 to tell rstar and gaia to take each other to final 2 cuz he felt like they both deserved it more. thats exactly wat ended up happening. gaiaphage had played a very good social and strategic game while the jury found rstar to be a little cocky. this caused rstar to only receive 2 votes and gaiaphage went on to become the sole survivor and made the most of his 2nd chance. meanwhile, rstar still is trying to get his 1st win after becoming the 1st person to be runner-up twice
