Welcome to today's Power of Veto competition!
Today you will all be playing "Food for Thought" and here is how it will work:
Since it is still Thanksgiving weekend and we are in the spirit of being thankful, today you will be identifying foods that are commonly associated with American Thanksgiving (a simple google search will help those that aren't as familiar with some of the foods).
Each round there will be an image posted with different foods. There will always be one less food item than people playing. So the first round will have 5 foods for 6 people playing. The second round will have 4 foods for 5 people playing, etc. There will be 5 rounds in total with one person eliminated each round.
Whenever the image is posted, you have to claim one of the food items by posting *claims
(food item)* with the food item being whatever the food item is that you are claiming. You can only claim one item per round. Asterisks are NOT needed but spelling counts. Capitalization does not matter either. It is like musical chairs in a sense. The last person left that has not correctly claimed a food is out of the challenge. You may guess as many times as you would like but once you correctly claim an item then no other posts will count.
The answers will need to be specific enough. What we mean by that is if a picture of "potato soup" is posted and you answer with *claims potato* then your answer is wrong because it's not a potato, it's *claims potato soup*. Remember this is thanksgiving themed so that should be helpful with a google search if needed... *HINT a lot of but not all dishes in a pan are called "something" casserole... ;)*
The last person left wins this Power of Veto!
Any questions before we begin?
