Last season, 28 artists took to the stage. 12 advanced to the final, where Morissette Amon became the first ever winner of our beautiful contest!

Well...as per Melodifestivalen tradition...let's open the show with a guest performance from our former winner...MORISSETTE!

Opening the show tonight is an icon known for The Voice, and participating in just about every tengaged game ever...please welcome...ALISAN PORTER!

I will be revealing 2/3 of the judge's comments for tension reasons :)

Rocky: Ouuu the famous Alisan Porter!!! You have such great vocalsss, but personally I wasn’t too into the song choice. I’m a sucker for slow and sad ballads tho, so probs for that!

Arthur: The Vocals were amazing but i was hoping for something more out of you here. The song choice was very poor and i was just hoping for something a bit more i guess.

After a somewhat disappointing start...please welcome our second act tonight! Hoping to break the Matt Barnish curse, it's COLE SWINDELL!

Sea: OK, WHY IS THIS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD? I was not expecting to enjoy this like I did...but it seriously has me tearing up somewhat. The country vibes are GORGEOUS, and the music video is so complimenting to this song! This is how you do country CORRECTLY. A sleeper dark horse in the making? I think yes :D

Rocky: Mhmmm, I don’t think I’ve ever came across you, but the beginning was cute with the phone call and all. I appreciate the sentiment behind this song cause goshhhh :)) The country twang was refreshing and I actually enjoyed it. I’d possibly wanna see what else you can bring, but all depends on the other judges too!

Our third act tonight competed in our first season, but sadly placed 11th place in the final :( Please welcome...SAM TSUI!

Rocky: SAMMMYYYY!! My past lover, I was very obsessed with you a few years ago and I don’t think this is one of your strongest performances tbh. LOVE the song choice tho, so you’re another one I’d like to see in the finale :) I loveeee me some variety!

Arthur: This was just boring too boring for me and i know you have way better song choices to chose from. (Say it as it is lmao)
