They were the bookies favourite throughout, but they was unable to live up to their own hype. Some people lowered their score for Colonia throughout the week, with suggestions that there were too many synth-pop songs in other National Finals which had won and they didn't want another one in this edition. Perhaps it was a set of unfortunate circumstances which held Colonia back, but they are not representing Croatia this edition.
