✧ MAYA
I think you did a great job of being true to Bree’s character, but at the same time I wasn’t really clutching my pearls laughing at anything you were saying. I feel like you flirted with a lot of parts of Bree’s personality that have the POTENTIAL to be really funny (her gay son, her alcoholism, her love of guns) but it felt more like a brief character study than a knee slapping performance. Your runway is cute! I see Fran’s influence but you added a little flair to it that I appreciate.

✧ ANDREW
Your Bree did make me chuckle, and thankfully I’m familiar with Desperate Housewives so I picked up on your references. You weren’t the star of the show for me, but you were by no means a weak entry. I like your runway, the garment is your own take on her piece which is nice, I just wish your hair paid enough respect to the enigma that is Fran Drescher. Regardless, I don’t know why but everytime I’m about to clean Andrew’s sheet, the dirty water that comes out of it reminds me of her scent… a mix of lube, maryjuana & cheap escort behaviour.

✧ TAYLOR
Wow what a week for you! I really love your runway look, I think you had one of the strongest looks tonight because you clearly resembled Fran but you added your own personal style to it. As for your Snatch Game, I wasn’t moved by it. Now, I haven’t watched a lot of Desperate Housewives, but I DID visit the real life Wisteria Lane during my trip to Universal Studios in Los Angeles, so I would certainly say I have a nuanced perspective on your neo-liberal feminist take on Bree Van de Kamp. If you’re in the bottom tonight, I hope whoever wins keeps you safe because I don’t think you’ve had an elimination-worthy week.

You’re the king of an audio so it’s no surprise that this turned out well for me. Aside from the specifics of the jokes, I liked that there was a narrative here and the final vocaroo with the razor and distorted voice really got me. Your runway is a super fun and interesting take on that look! There are a couple of places that I think could be nipped (the waist) and tucked (the unnecessary lima beans accessory), but I enjoy it conceptually.

✧ ANDREW
I enjoyed your Dionne. I didn’t really see you as the STAR of the show but you were definitely on the funnier side of things. As for your runway, I hate it so much! So I guess that means your job was done successfully, I appreciate the delightfully campy reference, but it’s terrible! I don’t have much else to say really, very neutrally positive week for you imo!

We all know you’re funny, and we all know you’re funnier than me. You were hysterical in the challenge so there’s no need for me to critique you there because you killed every answer.

However, this runway…



I like the dress and I like the idea of the stripes because I loved that book in Prep, but you could’ve at least blended the hue of the garment or the skin so they complemented because right now it just looks like a mess. Also your hair reads more Aileen Wuornos than Fran Fine, and I think overall the presentation is very messy and not so flashy.

This was near perfect for me! A great mix of crude and clever humor, there’s something in here for everyone. As far as fashion, where your Mary Kate and Ashley illusion left me terrified this is by far my favorite on the runway tonight. It’s clear you’re familiar with the show with this left of center pick and you really turned that catastrophe of a dress into something totally beautiful. You’re still kind of pinheaded but the proportions of this wig offset it enough and I think at this point I’m getting used to it anyways.

✧ ANDREW
I mean, I can’t really say I’m surprised. From our years of playing snatch game I’d absolutely consider you to be consistently the strongest snatch game queen in the business, with tonight being no exception. The twins were compelling and hilarious, and the fact that I could mentally picture their cracked out avatars on the panel just glancing over to each other as they’re talking really sells the whole presentation for me. The runway is stunning. This is all the polish in the world I could ask for, it really makes your over-the-top conceptual style (or in this case reference choice) look thoughtful and high fashion. So proud of you babe. Also I just read Maya’s critique and I’m really un-bothered by your Pinhead Larry fantasy, keep doing you.

✧ TAYLOR
Honestly, I was expecting a little bit more from you – hoping you would use the advice I gave you to make your Olsen twins more ‘wannabe high-brow’ rather than ‘valley girl’. However, your answers were still definitely funny and I actually cackled when I read, “LEG”.

Moving onto the runway. I have two words: busy and tacky… and I love it! This is by far the most impressive look tonight, without a doubt. You took a fugly gown and made it gorgeously camp! This was a very strong showing for you.

You look absobloodylutely smashing. You up for it? I’ll give you a bell afta the show. The lil’ chinwag you and your sis had goin’ on was a riot too.

This was clever! There weren’t a lot of weak answers in your lot, but also I don’t think you had the most stand out moments of the bunch. Overall a solid run! The photo of the iPhone getting penetrated had me dying. Your runway is a lovely homage to Fran’s style without being literal. Very cute and totally Fran! 

✧ ANDREW
I generally liked your Siri. The vocal recordings added a nice personality, particularly when you were doing your very best to read out the hex codes. You also somehow managed to make a sentient iPhone sexy, so nice job! Your runway looks nice, but this seems like an easy reference choice to me. I know it’s RICH coming from me when I’ve literally been wearing whatever the fuck I want to panel, but a plaid blazer with a white button-up and black tights is textbook Fran Drescher. So good job, but the runway is unmemorable.

✧ TAYLOR
Jenna, take a good look at us on the panel – the judges are actually smiling,  such joie de vivre! While your runway look is a little bit pedestrian, it’s still one of the best this week. I think the true high point for you was your Snatch Game… your Siri seriously made me L-O-L (which means laugh out loud in cyber-speak)! From the audio gag, the decomposition joke, the HEX codes, your lithium battery, and your scandalous nudes, you really turned an AI into something with a personality… but as I am writing this I am reminded of Gigi Goode’s performance as Maria the Robot… damn you had me in the first half ngl. :/

I actually was pulling for a top placement for you with the other judges this week until I reread the full challenge and realized I didn’t really remember most of your answers, I was just thinking of your original Tokyo Toni snatch game run from seasons of old! And as we all know, being unmemorable is the cardinal sin of snatch game. As for your runway, I like the choice of inspiration but the execution is not entirely there -- the dress is pretty flat and the hair is overly blended and also seems flat -- a total disservice to this fun Todd Oldham look.

✧ ANDREW
Your snatch game was fine. I appreciated that all of your answers had a nice flow, but like I’ve said to a handful of the other girls you really just weren’t the star of the show tonight. Regardless, my time would be better spent here critiquing your runway. Love the reference choice, love your silhouette choices, just keep going with the detail girl. Add those layers of shadows and highlights to make that dress pop. Add some layers of texture and shading to make the hair come to life. Your face is beautiful as always, I just want to see more refinement on the rest of your execution.

I feel like on the runway tonight you didn’t have style and you didn’t have flair, but in the Snatch Game… well, you were there. You weren’t tragic by any means but I really don’t remember anything you did as Tokyo Toni. Now, the dress could’ve done with some proper shading so it doesn’t look so flat and your hair and makeup isn’t doing you any favours. My advice would be to look at real makeup on a drag queen or a model and replicate as many details as you can because it’s the subtleties that will really make an improvement.
