This challenge is called “Lights Out Redux”, and here’s how it works.

When ready to begin, mail me “BEGINS” or “STARTS” (not picky, anything of the sort will work)

You will then mail me one number at a time, starting from 1, in order, as high as you can go, for 5 minutes.  If you mess up and mail out of order, go from where you left off.

The number you reach in 5 minutes will be your score.

However, there is a caveat to this challenge.  You must also keep the lights on as well, to do this, mail me “LIGHTS ON”.  You can not include “LIGHTS ON” and a number in the same post.  If at any point, 30 seconds have passed without you turning the lights on, you will have all your work for this challenge go to waste, as you will automatically score a 0.

In ADDITION, you must LOCK IN your score before 5 minutes hits by saying “FINISHES” or “ENDS” (not picky, anything of the sort will work).  You can not include a number in this post.

If 5 minutes pass from the start before you lock in, you will automatically score a 0.

TLDR:
Don’t let 30 seconds pass between lights on posts.  The first one has to be within 30 seconds of the start post. So :29 is the max you can go while still being in bounds.
Don’t let 5 minutes pass without saying “FINISHES”.  4:59 is the max you can go while still being in bounds.
Count as high as you can.

You CAN finish as early as you want, just NOT too late.

You have until 9:30 PM EST tomorrow to do this.  The team with the highest AVERAGE score will win the daily challenge and be safe from elimination.  The losing team will have 2 of their members face off in the Gauntlet.

IN ADDITION, PLEASE SEND IN A VOTE FOR SOMEONE ON THE OPPOSING TEAM TO GO INTO THE GAUNTLET.  These votes will only go through and be revealed should your team win. These are also due at 9:30 EST.  The loser's vote will be for 14 hours following this.
