Also I find the thinner you cut them the crunchier they will be, or if you do them thicker you can double fry them. which means when they start to turn golden brown take them out and leave them sit for like 5 mins and then put them back in and cook until they are nice and golden brown and they usually stay crunchier longer :)
Oh that's so easy! You just peel and cut a potato into your desired thickness and then I usually pat them dry so it doesn't splash if you put them in oil. I always do it the unhealthy way and fry it in some oil either in a pan or in a deep fryer if you have one. I find they are much crunchier in oil vs an oven, so that part is up to you! I'v never tried doing them in the oven at home because soft fries make me gag LOL.
