Parvati was robbed!!!

May 19, 2010 by zephyr_blue
Okay... anyone who can really give a good argument for anything otherwise is welcome to try... but seriously... I thought All-Stars would be able to get over their egos and vote for the rightful winner... I don't get it.

I don't think Parvati was robbed. Think of it this way. Say you're taking a class and there's one person who just is naturally good at the material and floats through the class, and another who has to work extra hard all semester. In the end of that class, the naturally good one gets an A, and the kid who busted her ass gets an A-. It's just how the world works, and you can't fault the naturally good person. Sandra was naturally good and didn't have to work as hard, Parv had to work extra hard. It doesn't mean one deserves it more than the other, we just got to see more of Parv's gameplay because she did have to work hard (or study more). ^_^

okay... thanks for explaining yourself... appreciate it.

I think parvati may have failed in the being annoying to watch in TC's and friendly category... I guess it all goes back to what makes a good Survivor... anyways, its a fair argument... gotta jet.

If you believe the line of BS fed the jury at the last few tribal councils, then yes - she absolutely deserved to win.  Since about 85% of it was falsehood ("Russell was my pet" - bitch, please) - this discussion has no further merit.

As for "I knew Russell was a threat and kept saying we should do something" is about as effective as "I know Hitler's Germany is taking over Europe - maybe we should get around to doing something" unless you actually do it.

Once again - bitter fail jury prevails.

cool... well, I'm glad some passionate people replied to this. I assume you think Russell should've won Noontar, but he failed at the social game. You need to be able to put a slightly happy fury there to vote for you and people have done that in the past, Russell basically has one dimension, he is one-dimensional. You need to be more than just cut-throat to get the votes.

Russell really ran the show as he was the one who decided who would go. For that reason, he was the most strategic player. But he made too many enemies, and Parvati made slightly fewer enemies but may have been penalised for associating with him. So there was no one left to vote for but Sandra, whose influence on the game turned out to be all talk but no action.
