2003 Saab 9-3 all keys lost, Can xhorse vvdi key tool plus do this key?
I live in the US and they haven’t sold Saab here in a very long time.
Ii know Saab uses a tech2 as their scan tool? Can tech2 do the key?
Solution:
If USA cars are like EU cars both generations exist as 2003 model.
1) If it’s 1st gen it’s twice module under the seat. Need to read the Motorola processor and write key to t5.
2) If it is the second generation 9-3 it is CIM module out (behind the steering wheel) and need to read the eeprom. Read it in circuit, because it’s pretty bad stuck with protective coating. There is big chance to damage the board if you try to remove it.
You can read dump with vvdi prog and make file key with vvdi2.
GM tech2 can not do keys in all keys lost situation. Was working for Saab. The dealer solution is new module with keys. If you have used module with key programmed to it, it is pretty easy to adapt it to the car with tech2 tho.

Question: Can I program VVDI BE Key XNBZ01 with Autel im608 Pro?
Look at VVDI BE Key image below:
https://www.obdii365.com/wholesale/xhorse-vvdi-be-key-for-vvdi-mb-tool.html
Read the success stories below:
It can be programmed without problems with Autel im608, I did with this one on E240. But you can’t change frequency via IM608. IM608 does not have the capability to change Mercedes key frequency like the vvdi mb.
If you remove the capacitor where it says FRE it will change the frequency, the yellow label on the key wrapper tells you about the frequency.
Look at this image showing desolder this resistor for 433 MHz:
Or use vvdi mb to change Frequency 315 or 433 no need to desolder.
I need to add a key card to 2018 Renault Kwid, vvdi key tool plus asks to input a long PIN code. Where to find this code?
Solution:
Xhorse will read VIN and Outcode. Send VIN and Outcode to the dealer for a 39-digit incode.
Then input 39-digit code.
https://www.obdii365.com/wholesale/xhorse-key-tool-plus.html
It cannot read long ISN code directly.
Autel IM508/IM608 can pull the code. Autel works well for Renault and other French cars. Done lots of these, without any problems. Good Internet connection and battery support.

With the xtool x100 pad3 it also gives you the code. With internet is 32 digits.Use xtool pad2 – PAD 3 or elite pad, they can make this car without error and much faster than autel.
Anyone try the new update? Autel IM508 tells me there is not enough space to install the app…I have deleted all the vehicles I do not use. looking for advice.
IM608 No Enough Storage Space
https://www.obdii365.com/wholesale/autel-maxiim-im508-diagnostic-and-key-programming-tool.html
Solution:
Delete brands you don’t use to make space.
Factory Reset the Tablet. Install a 32Gb Micro SD Card and then reinstall everything.
Generally, for tools like MK808/MX808, the maximin storage capacity is 32 gb, so you may need a 32-gb SD card. For higher-end tools like MK908P, some would go up to 128 bg, even Ultra up to 256gb.
When your tablet didn’t have enough memory space, it’ll give you some tips such as how big and what format the SD card you should buy.
Autel TS608: Yes
I can confirm the autel TS608 will access all modules, reset the service light, and access the TPMS module and clear those codes.
Only issue is its about $500.
6.Autel MaxiAP AP200 works directly with your phone, is easy to set up and it gives you ALL the OBD info taht dealers have access too for 1 vehicle of your choice for FREE! I naturally chose the GranTurismo and have reset my maintenance light on my 13 and my buddies on his 16 without issue. This will even scan all your systems and tell you if operating properly. The hardest part of the set up is getting the European All for it, Wich was just simply downloading it

Foxwell NT530: yes
If you want a more extensive scanner, I have the Foxwell NT530 that works well on mine.
https://www.obdii365.com/wholesale/foxwell-nt530-full-system-obd2-scanner.html
Many people use a Foxwell as well; works for codes and service.
Take this user’s experience for example: I bought the Foxwell NT530 and it works well on the individual control module scans for the most part and it resets the maintenance items such as oil reminder etc.
Finally update!
Hi. I am really happy with the Foxwell NT 530. Foxwell is out of China so response emails can be delayed but they have been great. Their engineer sent me a number of updates and the scanner scans and resets virtually everything on my 2015 GranTurismo Sport. Very pleased and great value, low cost.
I ended up buying the Maserati software with the scanner and added GM software as well as I have a 2017 Corvette Grand Sport and Silverado as well so it works for all Maseratis and all GM’s now.
Yanhua Mini ACDP or xhorse vvdi bimtool pro, Which one is better?
https://www.obdii365.com/wholesale/xhorse-vvdi-bimtool-pro.html
https://www.obdii365.com/wholesale/yanhua-mini-acdp-bmw-cas-fem-isn-full-package.html
You make your decision after viewing follow test report and reviews.
1)
Acdp is better but requires internet. It’s best to have more than one tool.
Autohex II
Acdp
Vvdi2
Vvdi bimtool
2).
Acdp good for ecu clonig , isn read write and key programming
CAS/fem/BDC key
Ecu cloning
FRM repair
Works perfect
3). ACDP will do that easily, it’s good with newer cars 2009+ that’s what I use it for mostly F series
4). Acdp is better for Volvo and JLR than BIMTOOL.
5). Acdp more safe and fast and solderles.
6). ACDP often cracks out both SWFLs in the FEM BDC, without SWFL no ignition, without ignition no flashing of the SWFL .. Furthermore, the ACDP often screwed downgrade from the CAS3. So does vvdi and other BMW programmemrs.
7). the only problem that i used to have with mini acdp is when making Keys for CAS4/4+. And thats why I always make backup with VVDI before even connecting mini acdp to CAS4.
You need both and a couple of other tools as well, for example AK90 for EWS.
