a *LATE* 9-year anniversary post! Mar 26, 2018
On March 23, 2009, a little 14 year old boy was looking for a site similar to the television show Big Brother, which he had just gotten into. He stumbled upon Tengaged, and his addiction soon began.

He was around for a lot of changes. He played in all the variations of Castings and Rookies. He played in one of the first Survivor games (home of the first KPell), he was around for the fall of The Duel, he played in a couple of Stars games (39, 52 and 127) and came back and played a Hunger Games.

9 years later, this boy isn't as addicted to the site as he was before, but it is still apart of his (late) childhood and is forever grateful for the fun he had and the people he met.

That boy is me :) I'm currently 23 years old, about to graduate from University in May. A lot of the people that's currently active here may not even remember me. I haven't even played a game since 2015 lol. But I do pop in from time to time and check out the site, see if there's any changes, etc. The reasoning behind me being less active on Tengaged is: 1. A lot of my friends left, 2. Me getting older, getting a job and becoming more busy, 3. Getting tired of the same old games.

I'll probably never play a game again (However, I want to join a Stars for the lolz), but I still love Tengaged with all my heart!

FINALLY Jun 12, 2016
For anyone that watches the show UnReal on Lifetime, doesn't the woman that plays as Quinn sounds JUST LIKE Amanda Zuckerman from BB15? I've binged watched all of the first season and thought to myself "Damn she sounds like someone else from TV" and it's finally coming to me lol

You don't know me, Mar 29, 2016
And I don't know you. I pop in from time to time on here to see changed (looks exactly the same as last year... and the year before last, lol)

But 7 years ago last week (March 23), I joined Tengaged. 7 long years ago.

Tengaged 2009 vs Tengaged 2016 is so different. But I like seeing the newer generation loving the site as well.

Okay, I'm typing this while in class. Maybe I should actually pay attention..

Question for all the college/university students, Nov 5, 2015
Have any of you changed your major?

So, I'm in my 3rd year of college but credit wise, I'm still a sophomore (pending my grade in my Spanish 2001 class, I could finish this semester STILL a sophomore). I came into college my freshman year majoring in Communications with a focus in Journalism. I want to be a journalist and I still do. I'm not sure how it is at other schools, but at my school, people who major in Communications must complete 4 foreign language classes all in the same language, and I chose Spanish.

I took 3 years of Spanish in high school, and I wasn't the best, but I knew a lot - or so I thought. In my second semester of freshman year, I took the first Spanish class. I sucked at it, but I got out with a C and pass. The next semester, I took the second Spanish class. I sucked at it but I still managed to get out with a C and pass. Last semester (Spring 2015), I took Spanish 3. I sucked at it the entire time. I tried my best. I studied, went to tutoring, but I could just never get it. I finished with a D and had to take it again this semester. I'm currently in it now and I don't feel like I'm going to pass it.

So, over the past two or three weeks I've been thinking of changing my major and what to change it to. I love to write, so no matter what I chose, I was going to still pursue journalism as a career. I'm not good in math, I'm not good in science and I do like working with computers, but I'm not THAT good to try to major in Computer Science. I wanted to minor in History, but I thought, what would I do with a History minor? Nothing. Social Studies had always been my favorite subject throughout middle and high school, and I did a History class my very first semester, which I enjoyed and finished with a B.

To make this very long story short, today I changed my major to History and chose my minor to be Communications. The one and only reason why I made the change is because I wanted to avoid taking two more Spanish classes. With the History major at my school (and pretty much every other major besides Communications), you only have to take two foreign language classes which I covered in Spanish 1 & 2.

After making this decision I feel like a failure! I feel like I really don't know what to do with my life, when I really do.. it's complicated. After talking to my adviser, switching to a History major doesn't really put me behind in my target graduation time (May 2017) but I may already be a semester, or maybe even a year behind, so I may graduate December 2017 or May 2018.

I guess this post has two questions:
1. Has anyone changed their major in college/university?
and
2. Has anyone not graduated in the normal 4 years?

Did anybody watch Desperate Housewives? Oct 29, 2015
I had never seen it and for the past month and a half I binge watched all 8 seasons, all 180 episodes. I want to do a review of each season! What's you guys' opinion on the show?
