Sometimes, from a different point-of-view, the right choice may be completely different than what is is in your point-of-view. Also, sometimes, people are completely oblivious to the fact that they're doing the wrong thing. For example, throughout the course of the Salem Witch Trials, everyone believed that what they were doing was helping to save the people of Salem, and in the end, 20 people hanged.
That being said, I completely agree with you. I don't understand why people are so mean and violent. Every war ends in a treaty. I wish people could just skip the death and violence and just get right to the treaty part. I completely respect soldiers who die for their causes, but I wish we didn't have to be in a position where people had to die for their cause. Aside from diseases and uncontrollable things like that, I can't think of a single problem that couldn't be solved with peace and kindness. I wish people were nicer. /=
I always forgive people, I don't really hold grudges. I don't forget, though. If you're around someone who is constantly doing things that are wrong you shouldn't keep them in your life, though, but forgive them, for your sake.

I forget, but I won't forgive, cause that gives me a new perception of things that I wasn't seeing before, maybe because of consideration of that person, but once I get a reality check, I get my glasses on and start to study that person and I get really introspective.
