Of course, I am grateful to have my mother in my life. I am gladly spending today with her, but I miss her. I miss telling her everything.
It's been about 5, almost 6 years since coming out to her, and that strain is still there. It hasn't been the same and I wish it would go back, but I know it won't.
So here is what I will say, do know that today is not easy for everyone for different reasons. Just be kind and courteous today, because you never know what people are going through.
