WOW! This was a pretty good set of films! It makes me excited for what’s next! I do have some good news…. THIS WEEK IS A NONELIM! You all will live to see another day! And on that note…
YASSSS!! I like X a lot! I remember seeing an ad for it on Instagram like before it came out, and I was immediately obsessed! I saw it on opening night and had so much fun watching it! I love a good slasher and I think this is a pretty good one! I love the themes of aging and sexual regrets so much! I think it’s a great way to elevate what could’ve been a standard slasher! I also love all of the characters (bar RJ)! I also think everyone in this movie is hot LMFAO Mia Goth mothered as both Maxine and Pearl in this film! My biggest issue with this movie is that no one really does anything…. They’re all just kinda helplessly picked off one by one in a one and done job…. Maxine also doesn’t really do much as a final girl either! She just kinda sleeps and does coke while all her friends get murdered until the end where she just kills Pearl LMAO but overall, a pretty good slasher film!

Mia Goth acted her ass off like that monologue???? The credits???? HELLO????? The Oscars are sick for ignoring her like… I love the aesthetic of the film! I love the technicolor vibe of it! I also think this movie is SO FUNNY LMFAOOOOOOOOO like…. I do have a little bit of an issue with it, I think the film is already relatable! So when they added the line about masks in the flu, it was corny and cheesy and a little too try hard to be relatable like…. In this day and age, a broken female lead is relatable enough! But I love that this is a character study film! Especially compared to X being a slasher! I think it’s a fun switch up! I also loved the little nods to X, it makes the watching experience more enjoyable!
HELPPP This movie is so good and so funny hjdjgvdgfhcdf Danni Sanders is so real and so mother idk idk like I stan her…. And I know I would irl too like…. She’s kinda my Jodi Arias yk? I think this movie is so stupid and fun! Zoey Deutch was the PERFECT actress for the role! Her ability to be cringey is so…. Like I got SO much second hand embarrassment from her cjbvfgjvfhcd I love how desperate Danni is…. How she follows every little trend! Like literally every single detail of her outfits, makeup, hair are what was trending all over tiktok…. Like they really paid attention idk…. Her doing this all for a boy is insane LMAO like…. Meeeeeeeeeee she’s so real…. AND like she lied yeah that’s bad BUT she used her platform to make a hashtag to let people victimize themselves…. She’s literally a queen for the people like…. ALSO Mia Isaac also acted her ass off in the role of Rowan like…. GIVE HER HER OSCAR!!!!!!!!!! Yeah! I also LOVED that she didn’t get a redemption arc! She didn’t need one and she also didn’t really deserve one tbh! But yeah… I truly don’t have anything negative to say…. It’s a good movie!

YASSS This is my 2nd favorite animated feature of 2022! It’s so good! It’s so much fun! AND it’s funny! I love how the Wolf guy is actually kinda scary… I think this film is quite mature for a kids movie! I LOVE the animation style sm!! I think it’s so unique! This truly is a strong film…. I adore it! I don’t have much else to say! Yeah….. ! Good job!
I liked this film! I was defending it when idiotic people didn't get it and tried to say it was bad! I will say, ranking his filmography, this would be last BUT it’s still good! Keke Palmer is a star and eats in everything she’s in and this is no different! I thought the creature was really gorg too like…. I don’t have much else to add? I think this was a pretty solid film overall? I do think she got outshined from the other movies a lot!
This movie is kinda nevracore… Like the plot, the characters, the cuntiness, and the bitchiness! Halina Reijn stole from me but it’s whatever! I’m over it now! Rachel Sennott is a STAR and deserves more credit ! She could honestly be the next Anna Faris… but anyways I think Bee was a great choice to be the main character even though I don’t really like her! I think this is a fun film! And a gamebotty choice but I respect it…. HOWEVER, I do have some issues. I think once Jordan dies, the film dies too. It falls into a lull that’s just kinda blah. I also don’t like the twist. I get the whole movie is like a “critique” on Gen Z and what not, but the first death being an accidental suicide by doing a tiktok was just a lazy, uninspired choice and honestly a cop out. It doesn’t take away from a rewatch but still… just not a fan of it!

Okay! You were the only person to send something I haven’t heard of before! This was actually pretty cool! I loved the rock elements! I also LOVED the coming of age feeling to it! I thought it added such a fun and unique feeling to the movie! You could definitely tell this was a smaller budget, the special effects were not good but they tried!! I loved the main girl, I thought she was funny! I also liked the ending…. It was a bit abrupt but it was good! I think this was a pretty solid pick!
Girl you’re so sick for making me sit through this long ass movie hjjgvjg but I did it! Now, I may not say super nice things about this movie! But I’ll start with the positives, Visually? Stunning! Which was expected, I also thought all the women queened out a bit idk…. That’s kinda it. I don’t think this needs to be 3 hours long…. I was super uninvested, it just felt like a chore. I think Avatar is overhyped? Like I get it back in 2009, 2010 it was a huge thing because of the cgi and what not but now? Almost every movie uses cgi like… The novelty wore off! I couldn't care less about this movie! Sorry girl…. I also hate white people with locs so I was annoyed when that little demon was on my screen 24/7. It’s not bad, it’s very okay. Outside of visuals, the story wasn’t that captivating to me unfortunately.
