I just want to put down my thoughts on the different castings. The good side of the new castings is that if done right, it can go really fast. To me, this is good as well as bad. As much as I disliked the older castings for taking a long time, the new castings can go WAY too fast for me. I like having some time to strategize with others and work out a plan.
Another good side is that there aren't any challenges. This forces people to be more strategic and social. They can't just compete in challenges and be safe anymore. I like this. This gets people ready for the social aspects of games like Rookies, which was the whole point of Castings.
If I could change Castings, I would put a time limit of 5~10 minutes instead of six hours. This gives people enough time to strategize before voting. If you must have challenges, I think you should have them like they are in rookies. Whoever does the best in the challenge wins POV and is immune from nominations. This means that they can't rely solely on the challenges to keep them save.
