For anyone who cares, I LOST! I had over 100 units on my country, but B ended up getting them down to less than 50. At that point, I quit. A also gave up before me and was taking out last turn. All that was left was J with 3 continents, B with 1-2, and C with Japan. Eventually they got rid of C and J ended up winning. Congratulations dude! If anyone has any tips for me, I'd love to hear them :)
As you saw in my last blog, I had the biggest army when we stopped yesterday. Keyword: Had. As today's game went on, I went from 61 units in 12 countries, to 4 units in 1 country. K was right next to me with 7 units in Kamchatka. He also had about 1 unit on every country in North America except for the bottom 2.
The rest of K's alliance went ahead and attacked K until only the country next to mine remained his. Then I attacked him on my turn. I was able to get a full set of cards and got 40 units at once. Of course, I put all of them on 1 country and attacked K. I killed him. Now he's out of the game, but I might be out next. BTW, J has all of N.A., Europe, and Australia. B has S.A. A has Africa. C has only Japan, and I have only a territory called Yakutsk. Can anyone tell me what to do?
Okay, so I was playing RISK with some friends. For the sake of being anonymous(anonymity? not sure how to spell the actual word), I'm referring to them as their initials. J started off and made an alliance with A. Then B made an alliance with C. Not wanting to be left out, I offered an alliance with K. He refused. It was J and A, B and C, K, and me.
Eventually, J and A offered me a spot in their alliance and I took it. C ended up breaking off of B to become neutral and stayed holed up in japan. J and A also added K to the alliance. We left the table to have a group meeting. I came back from the bathroom to find B was also in our alliance. It was currently J,K,B,A, and me versus C.
I felt bad for C and decided that I'm going to ask him for an alliance. I attacked J's troops and asked C to join an alliance, but he refused and I called off the attack. My alliance noticed this and decided to kick me out. Through a series of lucky rolls and cards, I got the biggest army in the game. I had all of Europe and part of Asia. Then C decided to branch back out into Asia and kill some of my troops. I got out of Asia, but still have all of Europe and the biggest army in the game. But I'm surrounded on all sides. How screwed am I?
The Water "Butt" to collect rain water is already in use and it's "actually" collecting water for the tribe.
First of all, I never knew that water had a butt or that it could collect rain water. Second, it sounds like it's all surprised that it's collecting water. I just think this is awesome and I can't believe no one's ever said anything about it.
