Its 2 days after the fact

imageand my mouth is still agape just thinking about that last ausvivor episode. i have not been that gooped nor gagged while watching survivor in YEARS (since the ausvivor kat cockroaching in fact) and survivor has not had such an emotional high point since the ausvivor 2016 finale (aka Survivor: The Movie).

the idol hunt
the defection of wai
wai telling the hodgepodge alliance that shes defecting and ruining their chances of getting a vote through
the idol swap plan that we, the audience, just KNOW is a farce and has 0 chance of working
george's LAST STAND at tribal
to the shock of not only the audience, but also the producers, cara IDOLS GEORGE (its okay, she wanted to. shes a mum). the entire audience is in tears just like george
the producers did not have enough time to move out the rig meant for george and the next shot of cara was enough to change the potential low point of the season to the high point of the season
not even 20 seconds go by while my brain is processing this emotional rollercoaster ride i was just on before the next time on shows a brawn prayer circle as cara is now the goddess overlord of the tribe within .2 seconds of her arrival.

best survivor episode in YEARS and that last 20 minutes are some of the greatest 20 minutes in survivor HISTORY. i am in absolute awe just thinking back. WOW!!!

i think it was a bit overhyped, i wish they didnt show wai's vote it didn't make much sense to me bc i thought she could still vote with the 3. obviously the tribe swap twist was in place to protect george. cara and georgia queens

lemjam6 the comment MADE that moment. we SAW wai's defection in FULL and that comment really solidified the emotional height of the hodgepodge alliance of 3 being screwed. "I didn't ask to be saved" in itself was a LEGENDARY quote.

to me it was refreshing that they showed the story from BEGINNINIG to END. I would much rather they show EACH emotional beat and STILL be left gooped and gagged when cara reveals shes a mum as opposed to survivor us where its edited incoherently to blindside the AUDIENCE and not the CAST.
