Nobody said it better than Mirna herself. Colin has a Napoleon complex, and christie is submissive, and he is able to dominate her. Now, these two disgusting criminals were the main antagonists of the season, and colin was just completely horrid and such an ottn asshole that still dominated the race i just hated him so much. Nobody, i mean NOBODY messes with Charla and Mirna and gets away with it!
When Christie blocked the door to the airport so mirna couldnt run through. ugh what a bitch! and then when colin was just an overbearing prick when he pointlessly argued over the taxi money. Like bitch, since when does the passenger set the terms? who gives a shit if it was "dangerous" that you drove half the time with a flat tire cause tbh half the audience wouldve been happy if you got into a crash and had to withdraw from the race.
The reason they didnt get #1, is although i hate them with a burning passion, they started TONS of drama throughout the season and i can appreciate a good villian. They were a part of what made season 5 so epic with quotes like "my ox is broken!!!!" and i was cackling the whole time when they got yeilded by the bowling moms ^_^
