First off, ever since the space unit in my kindergarten class, I have found outer space, astronomy, ect. beyond fascinating. I have even made room so I can take astronomy next year in High School. (Im a Sophmore).
So when I found out back in 2006 when I was in the 3rd grade, that there was going to be a retired astronaut on Survivor, I WAS SO PSYCHED. His name was Dan Barry. Many of you probably don't remember him, but if you went back and watched Survivor Exile Island, you will find him to be one of the most amazing, kind, fascinating guy to ever play survivor. I was so crushed when he was vote out, and it came so out of the blue because he was in such a great position. So enough with background info, lets get to the episode and tribal.

Episode 6 of Survivor Exile Island : "Salvation and Desertion"
The tribe Dan was on, La Mina, had 5 castaways left: Austin, Nick, Sally, Terry, and Dan. The four guys all had a guy power going on, so Sally was the obvious next out. This was all thrown for a loop when the next challenge was for reward AND immunity. After Casaya won, they were told by Jeff whoever they sent to Exile Island would be immuned from the vote! Casaya had caught on to the 4 guy alliance and sent Sally to Exile Island, doing a her a HUGE FAVOR.
It was then obvious that Dan was on the hot seat. He and Sally had lost the challenge due to being beat and a skull puzzel by Bruce and Cirie. Earlier this episode Dan had revealed to his tribe about his travels through space, and they all formed a huge bond.
This is why this episode was so sad, because non of the guys wanted to vote out another, they wanted them to be the final four. Dan had hope that Terry would vote with him to force a tie between Dan and Austin.
"I'm not gonna lie, I had hoped for a potential 2 v 2, Terry and I go one way, Nick and Austin go the other." - Dan
This is when I really began to hate Terry, as he left Dan out to dry and sided with the the two younger ones. However Dan took it like a true man, and left the game with honor! At the tribal council it was made clear that Dan would be voted out, and he enjoyed his final moments in the game.
To summarize everything, he left with a solute to Terry, Nick, and Austin.

Dan is one of my most favorites ever. I understand that this tribal may of been slightly boring, but I liked Dan so much and with the amount of honor and how he left the game, this tribal had to land a spot on my list.
TRIBAL COUNCIL #99 HINT : This one another one of my most favorites who left during this tribal. She was so sweat and kind, and got TOTALLY ROBBED due to a twist that left her completly screwed over. Can you guess it?

Jenny Guzon and Shii Ann were my first thoughts. I also thought Whitney Duncan, but now that I saw Kaitx post Michelle, I think it is gonna be Michelle.
BTW this will be about my personal opinions, as I like ur list so far.
But dan was really boring to me personally, and the Cochran tribal was not very entertaining. Dan was not in that great a position if you think about it, he probably would have gotten what Sally got if the twist did not mix it up. But he was a great guy.
But this is ur list, and have fun. These might not be in my top 101, but u actually took the time to do it, and I respect ur opinions, and greatly appreciate the entertainment your providing.
