So after watching the first episode of The Real World Portland I decided to make a cast assessment. I've watched every season from New Orleans and decided to skip this season due to the clusterfuck that was Saint Thomas, but I decided to watch the first episode of this season to see what's up. Here's what I think.
Anastasia Miller-22-Detroit, Michigan: Anastasia seemed like the diva of the season. I know I'm biased rating her in my top three favorites this season because she's from Detroit but she actually at first felt like someone who would actually be genuinely fun to hang out with! Her little dust up with Jordan made me like her even more considering Jordan is a total dick! I watched her on the Challenge where she and Jessica did terrible. But I like her more now.
Avery Tressler-21-Tempe, Arizona: Avery seems like the kind of girl you'd want to go and like, get coffee because she's fun and nice and sweet but her and Johnny...Ew. Johnny may have a nice personality but I feel he's going to be the dick of the season just looking at him. Avery can for sure do better but whatever. If their happy together whatever. Also Avery is gorgeous!
Jessica McCain-21-Fayetteville, North Carolina: Jessica is adorable! She's just like a bubbly little ball of energy who is just so cute! I'm not sure what she'll even contribute to the season except for just being rowdy and starting fights with Jordan but on the Challenge I really liked her!
Johnny Niemeyer-22-West Bridgewater, Massachusetts : Johnny is a really nice dude genuinely but I feel like he is just going to turn out to be a super dick and fight everyone. Just his look makes him look sketchy. But never judge a book by it's cover! He turned out to be super sweet with Daisy to get to Avery and she like him so good for them.
Joi Niemeyer-22-Seattle, Washington: Although Joi added absolutely nothing to this season, I had hopes for her to do well. I thought maybe she'd be a super slut and cause drama and just go bat shit on about everyone but except for showing everyone her playboy shoot, she contributed nothing and was so bland. Glad her replacement was good.
Jordan Wiseley-22-Mustang, Oklahoma: Jordan was a huge dick from the very first episode when he spilled a drink on Anastasia, called Jessica dumb because she didn't know the difference of upper class, middle class, and lower class, and just basically went bat shit on the whole house. He was a mascot for most boys on the Real World; A party freak and a super jerk to everyone, especially the ones with vaginas.
Marlon Williams-24-Lubbock, Texas: Marlon was by far my favorite person this season. The fact that he was bisexual started it but he was just a such a humble, down to earth guy. Now, don't get me wrong he does tend to get a little sleazy and drunk and perverted but hey, he's a 24 year old guy what do you expect?
Nia Moore-23-Powder Springs, Georgia: Nia was the mega slut, skank, whore and basically every word rude to women of the season. But that's what the real world is pretty much all about! This season was getting flat. And fast but when Nia showed up, shit got real! She really boosted the ratings and boosted the enthusiasm for the season with her personality!
