in my last casting game, i was evicted on day 3, and i have no problem aout that. what i do have a problem with is how i got on the block in the first place, negging. On many of my posts i was getting -3,-4 and also pogo11 accidentally posted a pm in the general comments telling an unknown ally to neg my posts as they had gone to the second page. this is where the problem comes in, big alliances all joining the same game. I do have an idea to stop this, instead of filling games one at a time, i would suggest that you would instead sign up for a casting or rookies game and would be put into a pool of other people and have the games launch at hourly increments filled with 20 or 10 (depending on the game) people randomly drawn from those pools. That way, you may end up with some friends, but it would make you form new alliances and meet new people. just my thoughts
Ok gotta say next week looks hilarious! whenever the locals get to go after the racers it makes for good television. for eam nicknames ive assigned please read the previous amazing race blog.
anyways i think this developing relationship between dallas and starr could be interesting as NO other team can stand team evil. team divorce redeemed themselves in my eyes while team golden oldies plummeted, here are my new rankings:
1)Team Evil: Yes they're manipulative and conniving, but i have to give them credit for winning the last two legs.
2)Team Awesome: They are consistently at the front of the pack and with their forming alliance with the evil children, they will do quite well
3)Team Divorce: They move back up after Team Drama, and i would really like them to set team evil back a bit, as i believe a yield or u-turn is coming.
4)Team Drama: Terrance is getting on my nerves like only teri and ian did. he is ALWAYS being a controlling, persnickety person when it comes to his wife's performance in things. i dont see them lasting too much longer.
5)Golden Oldies: Yes they may have the speed bump to deal with, and yes they may hate each other, but i believe they'll survive this week through sheer force of will. plus they just had a bad taxi driver.
And last and certainly least:
The Frat Boys: seriously the 1st team to leave the roadblock and got passed on the way to the detour by a lot of people, that and the hissy fight that got pitched when the wind was blowing. I also question their judgment in deciding which detour to do, as they said they didnt iron that much, and chose to iron, over the other challenge.
Next week: I am wondering since there are so few legs left, if this wont be a to be continued/keep racing leg. I really wish theyd stop the bottlenecking, so what if a team is three hours behind, make them catch up, and also id like to see the one fast forward on every leg reinstated, as it was really funny to see people finish way back in the pack after driving out of their way to the ff, just to find out it has already been used. The frat boys will simply tire out from all the physical activity and lack of alcohol and will be eliminated
Tonights episode actually made me wonder something, does anyone remember a couple seasons back when a guy almost got arrested? he didnt get a time penalty for that so when Team Drama (Terrance and Sarah) were assessed a 30 min. time penalty for being pulled over. Granted they did make me laugh when they hear that it'll take 10 min to fix their boat when they know aja and ty are a loooong ways behind. The amazing race production staff the last few years has been really bottle necking the teams and allowing teams that are 4-6 hours behind to start the leg to get on the same flight, instead of having the big difference continue. Look at ken and tina, they started about 1 hour ahead of sarah and terrance and ended up in 4th place due to the top 6 teams getting the same second flight.
This Weeks Rankings:
1) Team Awesome(Toni/Dallas): they just keep getting better in my mind as they keep moving along and finishing higher and higher.
2) Team Drama: although they whine about minor inconveniences way to much, i still think they've gotten better at this racing business
3) Team Evil (Nick and Starr): all i got to say is if you make every single team left angry with you AND you are a strong team, I have two words you're about to become very friendly with... "Yield and U-Turn". hehehehe karma is about to bite ya
4) Team Golden Oldies (Ken and Tina): if you see my last post i said they make too many mistakes and tina's allowing so many teams to pass her in the roadblock. they're cutting the slackers out therefore your cushion is slowly deflating.
5) Team Divorce (kelly and Kristy): their reaction to 5th was priceless! they totally thought they were ahead of everyone. they were in my top 3, but this leg dropped them down to 5th.
6) Team Frat Boys: Their sorry performance at the gas filling stop tells all you need to know about this team... they will be going home soon.
Next week:
This HAS to be a non-elimination leg as they are running out of teams. I also think they'll have the perennial eating challenge of something horribly gross. I believe this may also be an intersection as there are an even number of teams and they wouldnt do something like that for the final 4.
I was a little heartbroken when the southern belles were eliminated, they made me laugh about as much as Charla & Mirna. here are my predictions for the remaining teams:
Ken and Tina: i see them slipping up soon and will so few teams left it could really cost them
Toni and Dallas: This is one of the teams i see making the finale just on sheer lack of opposition, sure they've made mistakes but they've recovered well from them
Kelly and Christie: another finale team for me, although they may be the team that doesnt finish, because i can see one of them decking starr, which im sure is against the rules :)
Nick and Starr: i believe they will be the first team KO'd from the race... literally, NO ONE LIKES YOU!!! who do you think you are teri and ian... hehehe. your end is near soon
The other teams look mentally or physically unstable and will soon be eliminated unless i see an improvement soon
I believe the first non-elimination will occur and we will learn what horrible punishment they've come up with this year
Sugar and Ace- somehow these two have gone from being easy targets for the once very large majority alliance of crystal, kelly, ken, matty and gc, down to ken and crystal and matty hoppin on board with ace.
Crystal and Ken- Im sorry, but i believe tonight you sealed the others fate by not trying to get rid of sugar or ace as now not only do you have a numbers disadvantage, but ms. olympic athlete couldnt last longer than most of the other contestants, and i also thing ken's physical deprowess will get him ensure his never winning individual immunity but will keep him around do to his lack of a threat status

well it will certainly be interesting to see what this tribe does whilst attending tribal for the SECOND time total... my bet is on Dan as susie poses no threat to anyone in the individual stage and dan is obnoxious.
Corrinne charlie Marcus bob: while they lost Jacquie they will clearly have an advantage, but only if they can sway susie to their side.
I believe the first individual tribal will go something like this:
Matty/Ace vs Corrine/Charlie/Marcus/Bob vs ken/sugar with susie and old fussy pants as the swing votes. i can see the ken/sugar going to the soon to be former fang tribe side, but i also can see them turning on ace with the former kota.
The real question is who will play the idol? will they go after sugar or ace, and if so will the right person actually play it
