In the last episode of the Survivor Cagayan – Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty, the Brains (Luzon) tribe once again lost the immunity challenge, sending them back to tribal council for the third time. In the end, J’Tia ‘the rice dumper’ was unanimously voted out by her tribemates which include her former two allies.
Now, let’s weigh in our remaining 14 castaways whether they should stay in the game or should be voted out in the next tribal council.

BRAWN Tribe (Aparri)

Who should stay?
•        Sarah – Though throwing challenge is really a dumb move, but I don’t want to criticize Sarah’s eagerness for the tribe to lose the immunity challenge. Oftentimes, the early favorites in the game are those people who frequently visit the tribal council, which is the only way for the strategies to materialize and to reveal the alliances. Sarah has strategies and now in the majority alliance after recruiting Woo, and she badly wants to vote out Cliff.
•        Tony – I do think that Tony is overplaying the game with so many unnecessary tactics like the ‘SpyShack.’ But the biggest move he has done so far is getting Sarah’s trust even though he’s only lying to her. And he has the hidden immunity idol and holds all the clues to its location. I don’t know if you noticed it, but this guy likes talking to the camera! Always explaining his strategies, even though he’s not in confessional. Nevertheless, he’s very interesting to watch.
•        Woo – the newly recruit of the alliance of Sarah, Tony and Trish. Despite his closeness to Cliff who is the initial target of the alliance, he’s willing to vote him out. This Asian guy is here to play!

Who should be voted out?
•        Cliff – This big athlete has not done any move so far. Maybe, he’s pretty confident that he’s safe and his tribe won’t vote him out because he’s an asset in the challenges.
•        Trish – She’s actually a good person after choosing an extra sack of rice for the tribe instead of the clue to hidden immunity challenge. Good people are indeed interesting people in real life, but boring to watch in a reality show like ‘Survivor.’
•        Lindsey – She needs to pull her own weight, or else she will end up in the junkyard. So far, she has not done anything interesting yet to watch out for.

BRAINS Tribe (Luzon)

Who should stay?
•        Tasha – Apparently, this girl is the one spearheading the tribe. She’s very outspoken. She’s always initiating practice before the challenges, which we rarely see in Survivor. Her leadership is good for now, but I think it might hurt her during the merge.
•        Kass – I believe that Kass’ confessionals are fun to watch. She’s always saying how the members of the Brains Tribe are not brainy at all. Though she has allies, but she’s very independent with her own decisions. Among the remaining castaways, she’s most likely to flip which she can utilize to get herself in the finale.
•        Spencer – I really gave my sympathy to this guy in the last immunity challenge. He almost did the entire challenge and badly wanted to win. Apparently, it was all because he knew he was the bottom of the Brains tribe. Despite that they lost, I’m glad that Tasha and Kass chose him over J’Tia. And I do think he’s the most likable player so far.

Who should be voted out?
•        None, because I think the three remaining members of the Brains tribe can pull this off together from now on.

BEAUTY Tribe (Solana)

Who should stay?
•        LJ – He’s indeed a smart guy! He discovered the location of the hidden immunity idol, without getting clues written on a parchment, but just by observing Morgan the one who has the clue. Moreover, he’s an asset for the tribe in the challenges.
•        Morgan – She’s clearly the bottom of the beauty tribe. But she can take out herself from that position if she can pull off an alliance with the other girls – which she might because of her good ‘lying’ tactic.

Who should be voted out?
•        Jeremiah – It’s very clear that the reason why he chose LJ, Alexis and Jefra as his allies, not because they are his first allies – but because they have the numbers. He might be in danger now that Morgan is gunning for her.
•        Alexis and Jefra – Like what LJ said before, these girls (including Morgan) are the stereotypes of beauty. I’m not quite sure if he’s pertaining to laziness.

In the preview of the next episode, we learned that the Brawn, Brains, Beauty tribe divisions will conclude with a tribe switch. I’m guessing that the castaways will only be divided into 2 tribes of 7 (Solana and Aparri). My theory is that the former Beauty and Brains members will come together to pick off the Brawn. Perhaps, we will have our first casualty from the Brawn in the next tribal council.
Fourteen are left, who will be voted out in the next tribal council? Let’s find out next week.
