...I have an audition. For Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. For the BBC's Andrew Lloyd Webber thing (the same as the Maria/Joseph/Nancy/Oliver ones). But I'm not going :( I can't get a lift in from my parents and trains are suspended and delayed all over the city because of the weather. Plus Hampden is really far from my house and I have no idea how to get there by public transport anyway. Oh well. Always next year.
I can't get in to Glasgow in time. Trains from mine to Glasgow Central are delayed and like one train an hour is suspended. And I'm still in my pjs and have to do housework as I have family visiting today. My parents don't want me to go anyway.
Plus I've just had tonsillitis and only got my voice back properly yesterday and I don't want to strain it. I've not practiced or anything since I got tonsillitis on Christmas Eve. I know I wouldn't be doing my best if I went.
Always next year :D Means I can also try and find a singing teacher because I haven't had a singing lesson in a year and a half and could really do with getting back in to it!!
