...I have an audition. For Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. For the BBC's Andrew Lloyd Webber thing (the same as the Maria/Joseph/Nancy/Oliver ones). But I'm not going :( I can't get a lift in from my parents and trains are suspended and delayed all over the city because of the weather. Plus Hampden is really far from my house and I have no idea how to get there by public transport anyway. Oh well. Always next year.
...and passed WOOO! Not as well as I'd have liked to but still a pass none the less! The actual grade doesn't really matter that much. I was convinced I'd have to resit at least one of them so this is amazing news!
Annoying thing is that I am a reserve for study abroad and I passed well enough that if I had a proper place I would be jetting off to Miami or North Carolina in August :( Fingers crossed someone who has a place fails and I get to go! I know that's a horrible thing to say but being a reserve is quite possibly the worst situation to be in because you don't know what you're doing or where you'll be next year.
...and I'm up for noms. Half an hour to go. I don't want to leave. I like the people in my casting :( I'll be sad if I get evicted. It's not the end of the world though. Just please save me lol.
In the last half hour I have been in to seven shops and only found two selling earmuffs, neither of which I actually like. You would think in this cold cold cold weather more places would be selling them. My poor little ears need protecting from the bitterly cold wind! Especially since they're still sore after having tonsillitis and a sinus infection over Christmas!
So if anyone finds nice earmuffs in a UK store then let me know! I don't want big giant fluffy ones. I don't mind the ear bits being fluffy but I'd prefer the headband to blend in and not stick out from my hair. And also in black or white preferably :)
