Coming back from Tribal Council, the tribe of 9 survivors were very sad that the first person was evicted. The game had REALLY started. We could see the 2 groups from the previous challenge create an alliance between then, but nothing was solid.
Drew, Kelley, Mike and Sea were cooking and hanging out by the fire whilst Hygor, Ryley, Krystyana, Pavarti and Fox were on another water hunt and collecting wood in the way.
Drew decided to go check if there were news in the mail box. There he found an incomplete list with 3 words: Brains, Beauty and Brawn and there were 3 spaces in front of each of them. In the bottom it said :
“You can complete this yourself and make it a secret or let fate decide which one gets in which group”.
Tester decided he wanted his group together so in the Brain´s group he wrote his name along with Mike and Ryley. He then chose Kelley Wentworth, Sea and Pavarti for the Beauty´s group and Krystyana, Hygor and Fox in the last group, Brawn. After that, he could read:
“Now it´s up to fate to see which challenge will come next. Good luck”
Drew reunited with the fellow survivors and lied to them, saying that was already written like that. They all believed in him. They then made their way to the immunity challenge.
Once they arrive in the game area for the immunity challenge, Faia explained what the challenge was:
“Welcome back survivors. Because fate decided which one of you stayed in which group, you can now go ahead and chose the mat you want to be in. This challenge will definitely benefit 2 groups and unfortunately 3 people will go to tribal council. One for each group should take a feather from this bag. The one with the blue feather will have a 30 seconds penalization in the game."
Mike takes the feather for the Brain tribe … Green
Kelley takes the feather for the Beauty tribe … Red
Hygor takes the feather for the Brawn tribe … Yellow
They were all confused … where was the blue feather ??
Faia proceeds to explain:
“Ohh … I forgot to tell you guys, this was just for fun, who doesn´t love to see feathers with colors?!, now … If you don´t mind stepping off the mat you chose once you get here and turn around …. The blue feather should be below it.
Riley turns over Brain mat … White feather
Krystyana turns over Brawn mat … Black feather
Sea turns over Beauty mat … Blue feather
Faia: Okay so, unfortunately the Beauty group will have a 30 seconds penalization in this challenge. For this challenge you will have to turn this giant tires, then pick them up as a group and put both of them on top of that table. After that you have to jump up and down a series of obstacles. Once you´re done with the Brawn part of the challenge you will have to swim to the platform in the sea spread that mixture in the bucket on your face and try to fill the recipient with it and you´re done for the beauty part. For the final part, Brain, you will have to collect pieces of a puzzle once you swim back to the beach and finish the puzzle that says “Survivor Twist”. First tribe to finish this challenge will win immunity. Good luck and … START.
Brain and Brawn start the challenge and start running for the first challenge.
The tires were really heavy but they were pumping with energy and both of the groups were pretty even throughout the whole part. Once they start going up and down the obstacles, the Beauty group started after waiting the 30 second penalization, they were really focused and did the tires part even faster than the first two groups, they were still behind.
After the up and down, Brain and Brawn were head to head, but because Drew wasn´t a great swimmer, the Brain group started to be left behind and the gap with the Beauty was now tighter.
Surprisingly, after the Beauty part of the challenge the 3 tribes were pretty close to each other and swimming back the Brain tribe was not at the bottom because of Drew´s swimming abilities.
The 3 groups ran to the puzzle part where only one could get in action. Drew felt like redeeming himself so he volunteered to do it. Pavarti and Fox for their groups. Fox was the one with the most difficulties, struggling a whole lot on the first piece. Drew was really focused and so was Pavarti.
In the end, Drew brought the Brain tribe their win of immunity.
Faia: Okay, the Brain group ended up winning on a puzzle challenge … that must not have been a first. *they all laughed*. Okay so, here´s the twist, you guys won and YOU guys will chose the group who´s going to tribal. So, would you chose the Beauty group to go to Tribal Council or the Brawn group?
Brain got together, talked for a bit and it was like they were all with the same thought. Mike decided to make the announcement.
Mike: So, we as a group felt like Pavarti was the next to finish the puzzle for the Beauty group and they were good competition on this challenge and because of that we chose the Brawn group to go to Tribal.
