Some notes:
1. I really feel like Ru and Michelle just didn't enjoy Acid at all. I mean that lip-sync was pretty even from what I saw. Sure, Naomi stripped down to her bra and panties but Acid gave child birth realness. I actually thought it was quite clever of Acid to use her runway look as a tool for the lip-sync. Naomi showing she's middle-of-the-pack every week and Acid ranking high 3-4 times proves that Acid had much more potential in the competition. Not saying Naomi DOESN'T have any, just saying Acid had more, so this was a really confusing sashay. It feels completely undeserved.
2. Acid talking about how she doesn't feel accepted in Brooklyn broke my heart. We had this image painted of her because of how Thorgy was describing her earlier on in the season, and maybe its true that Acid can be an asshole, but it probably very much has to do with the fact that she doesn't feel accepted.
3. You could tell Thorgy and Bob were in shock and heartbroken when Ru told Acid to sashay.
4. Bob choosing two people to do in snatch game was very clever and smart. Her win was very well-deserved. Still waiting on Thorgy to get a win though. If she doesnt get one soon, I worry for her.
5. I was very upset at Naomi for trying to do the HBIC and failing miserably, but at least she owned up to it.
6. Lastly, I hate to admit it but Derrick actually did pretty good in the snatch game. I'll also admit that I wish she didn't because if she was in the bottom three again, she probably would have taken Acid's spot in the bottom 2.
This was the saddest elimination yet, even more sad than Dax/Laila who were in my top 4 pre-season favorites. Acid was my number ONE pre-season favorite and remained there this whole time. She's just a fascinating human and artist. I can't wait to see more from her!
