this week... i was rly disappointed with a lot of the songs... to say the song had to be a male/female duet.. with so many songs out there . . i have been left, strongly, disappointed.
1ST: Blank Marquee by Yuna&G-Eazy Violets: a very unpredictable pick but I have heard this song a couple times before and I absolutely loved it when it came on my spotify and would always constantly look when it came on to see who sang it, very r&b which I love whereas all the other duets were pretty pop-py.
2ND: Love me Harder by Ariana & The Weeknd DarriusDaBest: a very safe pick but it cannot be denied that this song is amazing
3RD: No Air by Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown deshonBANNEDISBACK: ugh i used to love this song so much back in the day, i would sing it all the time, an amazing song
4TH: The Worst in Me by KAYTRANDA & Tinashe turkeylover: I love this song but I feel like you have wasted it in this theme, yes it is a male and female artist but there were no vocals other than tinashe.. if this was submitted in a future round it would of probably bagged you a win.
5TH: Birthday Cake by Rihanna & Chris Brown AmandaBynes: tbh I think I've only ever heard this once before but I enjoyed it a lot and it is very catchy gorgeous pick sissy x
6TH: Nobody wants to be a Fool by Ricky Martin & Xtina Arris: an unusual pick, never heard it before, i didn't like it on my first listen but after my 2nd/3rd listen I started to like it
7TH: Dancing with a Stranger by Sam Smith & Normani Irelia: i don't really like sam smith songs except for his upbeat ones, there is only one slow song of sam smith's that I love and this is not the one. normani carried this.
8TH: Fools by Xtina & Blake Shelton: xtina sounds so good in this, I won't lie, i've never heard this before but she sounds amazing, however blake bored me and if he wasn't on the song it'd probably be so much better lmfao
9TH: Sad Song by We The Kings ft Elena paul028: this song rly bored me to death, i was listening to it and doing other things and actually turned it off, not realising it was for this game and i had to listen to it the whole way through, it somewhat follows the rules as it is a male and female but they are a band. if the person below did not submit 3 people you would of probably been eliminated. count urself lucky.
10TH: Easy by Troye Sivan & Kacey Musgraves & Mark Ronson Maxi1234: never heard this song before, it wasn't really interesting, i'm not the biggest troye sivan fan except for his blue neighbourhood era, some songs are okay there. however this does not follow the rules stated "Male And Female Duet. I want you to submit a song where the main artist is a male and the ft is female, or the main artist is female and the ft is male." You have submitted 2 male artists and 1 female artist. I am very disappointed because I rly enjoyed your pick last week and thought u were going to deliver. sorry sis.
As for the rest of you, Week 4's theme is..... R&B. I am quite frankly sick of all these pop songs / slow songs being submitted. R&B is one of my favourite genres I regularly listen to, you can submit any artist you wish, male, female, group, as long as the genre is R&B.
