Deep Cuts team profile

The vast majority of Schmoedown competitors are critics and movie pundits in the Hollywood industry. Most of them have a podcast or write about films in some capacity. But this is not the case with Deep Cuts. Aaron and Thadd are behind the scenes guys for Collider who got the call to the big show, the Schmoedown stage.
Fans didn’t really know what to expect out of Deep Cuts. Even the commissioner, Kristian Harloff admittedly wasn’t really sure what kind of performance he would see out of Thadd and Aaron. But after 18 points in the first 2 rounds, Deep Cuts retired the Night sisters in a TKO. This match was booked in more of a “one off” so the fans could get to know the guys who bring them this great program to them every single week. But after a convincing win Deep Cuts, was thrust into an ultimate Schmoedown qualifying match against IGN so shocking they didn’t even know about it until they showed up for the match.
Deep cuts were in an uphill battle from the start against a really good IGN team. IGN had a perfect first round from Jim Vejvoda and an 11 point spinner’s choice round two. They played so well that even a respectable nine points in the first round and seventeen points total after a hefty spin of “comedy”, “that Deep Cuts” were in a “deep hole” they could not dig themselves out of. Fans were surprised at this outcome because of what many believed as a spoiler that Kristian left in his Facebook live that past Monday. It was not a spoiler but in fact a sudden splitting up of IGN after Eric Goldman left the company to work with Marvel. It was because of this that Deep Cuts were entered in the ultimate Schmoedown by Homer Simpsons two favourite words, “de-fault”.
Many fans overlook the movie knowledge of Deep Cuts. But one theory that works in this teams favour comes from Brian Davids, of the Schmoedown Rundown. He suggests that working on the Schmoedown can enhance ones performance. He uses Kristian Harloff, Mark Ellis and Ken Napzok as his example for this theory. This could be true for both Thadd and Aaron who have done the production of every single Schmoedown episode to date.
Heading into the tournament Deep Cuts faces Team Action. They have a long and extensive road ahead of them but if anything doesn’t go their way they can play god and edit themselves 4 straight wins to the Spectacular. If you don`t believe me go back to the IGN episode where they make Ken Napzok disappear. Anyone who can make the great Ken Napzok disappear has a great chance at winning those much desired team championship belts.
