really really do your research on the atmosphere of the campus.
there’s this one school that I really saw myself going to when i looked at the low cost, quality of education, and their traditions. but then I found out that it’s actually a very country school—and the city in general. like everyone wears cowboy boots/hats and goes to rodeos on the weekends. i wouldn’t have felt comfortable there. when I read reviews of the students I found out that many of the students were racist to the black and non-white students that attended. now i REALLY wouldn’t have felt comfortable there.
i’m only saying all that to tell you why it’s pretty important haha. good luck
