Though I think I lost more because of someone who had been voted out... someone whom I betrayed. And instead of admitting defeat and a well played game they did the "hey everyone, I'm going to mail you the chatzy I was in" thing.
I don't know. It's all a game and pettiness is a part of it, but it kind of irks me that I was knocked out by someone not even in the game.
Had a final 5 alliance going. You can't trust a final 5 alliance, everyone knows that. Only 3 can make it to the end.
I tried to make a move with someone who swore he was loyal to me above the rest of the alliance, and I pulled in an outside vote in the final 6. Well, instead of making the move he told the alliance. #6 went out followed by me.
Technically though, that honors the final 5 alliance. So I guess we're good, electriccheddar
Anyway they did a challenge where they dug for gold nuggets in a huge sandpile. For each gold nugget they found before time ran out they got X amount of dollars. And then that dollar amount is what they had to work with at the auction.
I usually pride myself on being loyal in this game. Just played one where it backfired though. I had a side alliance who would have taken me to the final 3 and I came to a point in the game where I could either throw my ally under the bus and walk into the final 3 or let the algorythm split the vote.
I took the path of loyalty and let the algo decide. Algo put up my ally and one of the two from the side alliance. I was all in at this point and split the vote again. And the algo fucked me, knocked my ally out.
I was exposed and predictably went next. Good game to the dudes I played with. Good on them ( LyonRemedy_ and Bcush95) for at least understanding it was a game move and not being total dicks about it.
