Was because Congresswoman Omar (one of the first elected Muslims in Congress) was on CNN with Jake Tapper and they asked her about a tweet in 2012 where she tweeted about Israel and its antics regarding the war. They asked her to apologize to Jewish Americans basically when her tweet was not anti-Semitic in the slightest. Just because she is against Israel doesn’t mean she is against American Jews.
I don’t see reporters slamming Republicans with all their Islamphobic tweets from yesterday muchless 2012.
