Tier 1
1. 5-Way Tie (can’t choose, honestly): Season 6, 8, 10, BBCAN 2, BBCAN 3 – if I had to say the defining features of these seasons would be for the USA seasons 6 and 8 good twists and all 5 have great, interesting houseguests that split into two factions that shift power throughout the season. All 5 have at least ABOVE AVERAGE drama with the USA ones having more than any of the other USA seasons. I live to see BB drama and BB power shifts and moving alliances and no other seasons come even close to how good these 5 were.
2. Season 7 – A particular HG raises this seasons ranking a lot. A great solid season that makes wonder why All-Stars is such a bad idea. Don’t watch without watching Seasons 2-6.
3. Season 3 – A classic season with great HGs and great play. The competitions were lamer back then, but the game play makes this season great. One of my best friends favorites because she liked all the HGs.
4. Season 14 – first half of season was phenomenal. Coaches just stirred the pot all day everyday. One of the best feeds seasons I’ve seen (I’ve seen 11-17 and BBCANs 2-4, variably).
5. Season 11 – Doesn’t get much noise from fans because of the ending, but great casting on this season. OK-ish game concept.
6. Season 2 – Classic TV
7. Season 4 – Nobody ever likes this season because of the winners, but great strategy and moving alliances made it great. Also, best twist showrunners could have come up with.
Tier 2
8. Season 13 – Power shifts made it good. The last season of BBUSA with many exciting HOH wins and power shifts.
9. Season 15 – Ok season. Good casting. Racism.
10. Season 9 – Drama raises this one’s stock value a lot.
11. BBCAN 4 – very middle of the road so far. Some votes where we didn’t know what would happen.
12. Season 17 - Season 16 – Ok I’m like smart and all (I’m a graduate student) but the BOB is just too much to think about and makes the game too complicated. The seasons were about the same, power shifted a little and big moves were made, but the twist ruined it for me. A new generation of masterminds play in these seasons and that was nice, just wish they were in the house with more players of their caliber.
Tier 3
13. BBCAN 1 –Bleh
14. Season 5 – OK so I’m super biased against all-male alliances because they make it boring. These two seasons had very few power shifts and many dull houseguests. 5 gets the edge because of twin twist and the final 4 shock that really surprised people.
15. Season 12 – Predictable, many boring HGs, drama-less for like 12 out of the 14 weeks it was on. Just didn’t think 6 weeks of making fun of Rachel was exciting.
