:::::SCENE 1:::::

*August 5, 2017*

As the sun begins to rise initiating a new day, Braxton finishes shoveling dirt over a grave site. He shoves the shovel into the ground and stands back, taking in the sight of two freshly filled graves. Near by Meredith and Jeremy stand also looking at the graves containing the bodies of Kalista and Jude.

Wiping away tears Braxton turns around and heads towards the mansion the group is staying in. Jeremy looks over at Meredith and sees tears beginning to form in her eyes. He reaches over and rubs her arm.

JEREMY: They fought hard. If it wasn’t for you teaching them…things would be different.

Meredith doesn’t react to his words, signaling him to let out a sigh and head back into the mansion. Once out of sight, Meredith kneels down by Jude’s grave and places a hand on the mound of dirt.

MEREDITH: I’m sorry. I’m so sorry I…I couldn’t protect you. I couldn’t…

She wipes away tears and puts her head down allowing her red hair to cover her face. She lifts her head up and takes in the sight of his grave once more. She stands up and reaches into her back pocket to pull out a folded up paper. Opening it up it reads, “Revco. A community by survivors, for survivors.”

Meredith looks up at the rising sun and then towards the destruction left behind from the chaos following Trent’s attack on them. She takes one deep breath, holds for a moment and exhales before heading towards the mansion.

——Cut To——

*50% voted for Reina’s baby to be called Angel*

Making her way upstairs, Meredith hears the sound of a baby cooing from inside Reina’s room. She walks inside and finds Reina holding her baby in her arms as Jeremy and Braxton look on with smiles. Reina looks up at Meredith and begins to tear up.

REINA: They told me about…everything.

Meredith walks over and sits on the bed next to Reina. She looks at the baby quietly looking back at her with peace. Meredith smiles.

MEREDITH: Does she have a name?
REINA: Her name is Angel. Angel Judith Robles.

The two women share a look and smile through teary eyes. Meredith turns her attention back to baby Angel and smiles.

MEREDITH: You are indeed an Angel.

Meredith looks towards Braxton and Jeremy as she hands them the paper for Revco.

MEREDITH: On my way back from the woods, that sign was posted on a tree.
JEREMY (reading): “Revco. A community for survivors, by survivors.”
BRAXTON: It says it’s located a few miles from here.
REINA: Do you think we should go?
MEREDITH: You just had a baby. We shouldn’t try to move right now.
REINA: Meredith, if you think this is the best place to go…we can do it.

Reina looks down at a now sleeping baby before looking back up at Meredith.

REINA: It could be a chance for something better. For Angel. For all of us.
JEREMY: It’s risky. Taking the baby out there is too dangerous.
REINA: I know. Under normal circumstances, I would say no. But…this could be the place for us.
BRAXTON: If signs like these are posted around the area, it could mean Krista is there.
REINA: Yes it could, which is more reason for us to go.
JEREMY: I just think we should maybe wait. Until you’re stronger.
REINA: Jeremy, if we wait…who knows what else could happen here.

Meredith looks around at her group before taking a deep breath.

MEREDITH: It’s risky. Especially on foot.
BRAXTON: When we came back from our run the other day, I saw some abandoned cars.
MEREDITH: If we could get one, it would be safer.

Jeremy walks over to the window and looks out seeing the 18-wheeler still parked blocking the broken front gate. He turns around to the group and slightly chuckles.

JEREMY: I have a better, bigger idea.

——Cut To——

Sitting in the driver’s seat, Meredith looks over to see Reina and baby Angel sitting in the passenger seat.

MEREDITH: Do you think they’re ok back there?

Reina lets out a small laugh and smiles at Meredith.

REINA: They’ll be ok.

——Cut To——

In the back of the 18-wheeler’s trailer, Jeremy and Braxton sit against a blood stained wall with their shirts covering their noses amongst the smell of rotting flesh.

BRAXTON: Great idea.

Sensing the sarcasm, Jeremy lets out a sigh as the truck roars to life and drives off the property.

:::::SCENE 2:::::

Krista, Danielle and Kevin walk up the porch steps of a two story home in the suburbs that looks untouched, minus the one broken window in the front. The door is cracked open and Danielle peeks in through the broken window.

DANIELLE: Looks like it’s abandoned.

Krista pushes open the door and heads inside. Looking around she sees photos on the wall with herself, Kalista and their parents.

KRISTA: Mom!? Dad!? Kalista!? Braxton!?

In front of her, in the foyer, is a table with a note. Danielle walks over and picks it up.

DANIELLE (reading): “Kitchen is cleared out. Garage has water bottled hidden behind the washer.”

Krista takes the note and re-reads it.

KRISTA: This isn’t my parents' handwriting.
DANIELLE: Be on alert.

The two pull out their guns and have them at the ready. Looking behind her, Danielle notices Kevin sitting down on the ground near the door. Krista nudges her.

KRISTA (whispering): Let him be.

Danielle nods and starts to make her way deeper into the house as Krista heads upstairs.

——Cut To——

Danielle looks around the kitchen before heading towards the backyard. Once there she notices the dead body of Rodney Scott. Walking closer she notices he was taken care of before he turned.

Walking over to the shed, she looks inside to see the blood stained on the walls and dog food scattered on the ground. Sensing someone watching her, she quickly turns around and points her gun at Kevin.

DANIELLE: Jesus, kid. Don’t sneak up on people. Scared me half to dea…

She stops before saying the word and watches as he looks over at Rodney’s dead body.

DANIELLE: He was like that when I came back here.
KEVIN: Is that her fiancé.
DANIELLE: I don’t know.

Kevin walks over to the shed and looks inside.

KEVIN: What happened here?
DANIELLE: Something dangerous no doubt. We need to get going ASAP.

They both look over at Rodney’s body.

——Cut To——

Upstairs Krista walks carefully into a bedroom where a dirty mattress lays on the ground next to the dead body of Ramon. Krista covers her mouth in shock and looks around at the messed up room. She walks over to the broken window and looks down to see only shattered glass down below.

The sound of the bedroom door creaking more open sends a chill down her spine. Krista grips her gun tightly and turns around quickly with it raised. Standing in the doorway are Danielle and Kevin.

DANIELLE: Second time today, kid.

Danielle moves passed Kevin and walks closer to Ramon’s dead body.

DANIELLE: Do you know him?
KRISTA: Never seen that man in my life.
DANIELLE: There’s another body outside.

Krista rushes past Kevin and Danielle as she hurries down the stairs. Outside she rushes over to Rodney’s dead body only to realize she doesn’t recognize the man. She kneels down next to the body and starts to cry as Danielle and Kevin walk over.

DANIELLE: Is that Braxton?
KRISTA: No. I…I don’t know who this is or why they were in my parent home.

Danielle rubs Krista’s back and looks over to Kevin who is focused on his shoes.

DANIELLE: I’m so sorry, Krista. But we need to get out of here. It’s not safe.
KRISTA: I…I just don’t know what to do. Where…is my family.

Krista begins to sob harder, causing Kevin to break out of his trance. He walks over and kneels beside her.

KEVIN: Revco. We should check it out. They could be there.
DANIELLE: The kid is right. It might be the best place to look.
KRISTA: I…I just…

Kevin puts his hand on Krista’s back, causing her to look up at him.

KEVIN: My sister…she’s dead. That’s a fact that I…I will never get over. But your family…your family is out there somewhere. I might not have been able to save my sister, but she taught me how to look out of the ones we care for. She taught me to never give up even when the odds were against us. Don’t give up now. Your family wouldn’t want that of you.

Krista wipes away her tears and nods her head at Kevin.

KRISTA: Thank you.

She stands up and lets out a sigh.

KRISTA: Let’s go.

The trio walks down the driveway and begins to head back down the road leaving Krista’s parents home behind them.

:::::SCENE 3:::::

As the sun beats down on them, Miles, Tessa and Sage walk down a deserted road parallel to railroad tracks. Sage and Miles walk side by side ahead of Tessa, who is cautiously looking around. Sage watches her but quickly turns back to face the road when their eyes meet.

SAGE: Uh…how much farther do you think?
MILES: Probably a day or so.

Miles looks over at Sage and watches him slightly turning his head to look at Tessa.

MILES: Bro, just go talk to her.
SAGE: Huh?
MILES: What are you stupid? I said go talk to her.
SAGE: She…I wouldn’t know what to say.
MILES: How about, “what’s up?”
SAGE: Nah she…she’s been through a lot. I don’t want to bother her.

Miles shakes his head and starts to chuckle.

SAGE: What?
MILES: We just survived a fucking makeshift prison and you’re over here scared to talk to a girl.
SAGE: I’m not scared. Just…I don’t want to make things awkward.
MILES: Dude, it’s already there.
SAGE: What she’s been through…I just don’t know what to say.
MILES: I get it. She’s been through something horrible, but you helped put an end to it.
SAGE: It…I should have done something sooner.
MILES: Yeah well there’s no going back in time. If there was, we’d never even step inside that place.

From behind them, there’s a rustling in the trees next to the railroad tracks causing the trio to stop moving.

TESSA: Guys.

Just then two zombies come stalking out of the woods towards Tessa, who stands frozen. Miles and Sage pull out their knives.

SAGE: Tessa, get back!

The zombies snarl as they get closer to Tessa, whose body remains motionless. Miles runs over and kills one of the zombies as Sage stabs one in the head just as it is about to bite Tessa. As the zombie falls the to ground in front of her, Tessa looks down and then back up to Sage.

TESSA: I…I’m sorry.
SAGE: Hey, it’s ok. Are you alright?
TESSA: Yeah, I…I just haven’t seen one of them up close in a while.
MILES: It’s cool. Let’s keep moving. Sage, why don’t you stay back here. Keep an eye on things.

Miles winks at Sage, who starts to grow red in the face. Miles walks ahead of them as Tessa and Sage walk side by side in awkward silence. Sage looks over at her and struggles to figure out what to say.

SAGE: Um…so….what’s up?

Tessa looks over at him confused making him become redder from embarrassment.

SAGE: I mean…um…what…what do you think about Revco?
TESSA: It’s hope I guess.
SAGE: Yeah…um. How many of those things have you killed?
TESSA: A couple. When it was just Maddie and me, I had to protect us both.
SAGE: I’m sure that was tough.
TESSA: It was. I don’t know. I guess I just knew I had to protect her.

Tessa lets out a sigh and looks down at the road. Sage instinctually reaches over and touches her arm causing her to look over at him. He quickly retracts his arm and nervously looks from down at the road to up ahead.

TESSA: Sage.
SAGE: Yeah?
TESSA: Thank you.
SAGE: For what?
TESSA: For everything. You saved me from that thing and…Ramon.
SAGE: I just wish I could have done something sooner.
TESSA: I don’t blame you.
SAGE: I blame myself.
TESSA: Don’t. Please, don’t.

The two look at each other, making eye contact before shyly looking elsewhere. Miles watches from over his shoulder and lets out a slight laugh before turning back to the road ahead.

:::::SCENE 4:::::

Todd and Eden walk side by side down a road surrounded by trees and a railroad track to their left. Behind them, Zale walks alone followed by Nate and Chandler.

TODD: We should be there soon. It’s just up there.
EDEN: Do you think they will be surprised to see you?
TODD: Oh I’m sure. It’s months and knowing my dad, he probably thinks he lost his only living son.

Eden puts her hand on his back and Zale watches in silence as she comforts him.

EDEN: I’m sure he will be overwhelmed to see you.
TODD: Thanks, princess.

The two smile at each other, but Eden’s smile fades as she sees Zale looking at her from over her shoulder. She turns her attention back to the road ahead. Behind Zale, Chandler and Nate walk with their guns and keeping an eye out for movement.

NATE: He won’t even look at me.
CHANDLER: I’m sorry.
NATE: I shouldn’t have covered up for you.
CHANDLER: Why did you?
NATE: I just didn’t want to hurt him any more than he was already.
CHANDLER: Do you think he’s done with you?
NATE: Now that she’s back…who knows.

The two continue to walk behind the others and soon a giant gated community is before them with the word “REVCO” in large red painted letters. The group stops and take in the sight of the gated community. Todd turns to face the group.

TODD: Welcome to Revco.

:::::SCENE 5:::::

Inside the walls of Revco, Dr. Emmalina McKaulin walks towards a building with a sign depicting a red cross. As she enters the makeshift clinic, she turns on the light which brings into clear view three beds separated by curtains and various medical supplies around the room.

Walking towards a back room, she turns on the light to her office and drops her keys into a bowl on the desk. Emmalina grabs her white coat from behind the door, puts it on and smoothes it down. She then puts her stethoscope around her neck and takes a seat behind her desk.

As she begins to look over papers, her husband Dr. Dillon McKaulin enters the clinic and goes to knock on her office door.

DILLON: You left this on the table.

He hands her a folder, which she takes without looking up at him. A bit irritated he continues to look at her ignoring him.

DILLON: You’re welcome.

She looks up at him and rolls her eyes.

EMMALINA: Thank you.
DILLON: What is going on, Em? Why are you being this way?
EMMALINA: And what way is that?
DILLON: This! Ignoring me. Is this all because I brought up the baby?
EMMALINA: I don’t have time for this.

He reaches over, takes the pen out of her hand and slams it down on the desk. She looks up at him with contempt.

DILLON: Make time.
EMMALINA: We’ve already gone over this.
DILLON: No, no you walked away before we could even talk about it.
EMMALINA: That is because I don’t have time to consider ridiculous ideas.
DILLON: Having a baby is ridiculous?
EMMALINA: Given the circumstances, Dillon, any rational person would think so.
DILLON: We’re good here. We…we could have the life we wanted.
EMMALINA: The life we want or do you mean the life YOU wanted?
DILLON: When we got married, you wanted a family.
EMMALINA: I did. But miscarriage after miscarriage made me realize it was a stupid dream that would never come true.

She struggles to hold back tears as she reaches for her pen.

EMMALINA: I’m done discussing this.
DILLON: Emma, we could try and…

Just then Corey Beckett walks into the clinic holding his bleeding hand. Emmalina looks out through the window in front of her desk at Corey as he smiles and raises his bleeding hand up. She lets out a sigh and stands up.

EMMALINA: I have a patient. You can go.

Dillon bites his tongue and turns around to leave.

COREY: Hey, Doc.
DILLON: Corey.

Dillon walks past the young man and exits the clinic. Emmalina walks out and over to Corey.

EMMALINA: You really need to stop injuring yourself. We only have so many supplies.
COREY: I know, I know.
EMMALINA: Have a seat.

Corey walks over to one of the beds and sits on the edge of it. Emmalina rolls over a cart with medical supplies and then takes a seat on the rolling chair in front of Corey.

EMMALINA: Let’s take a look.

She turns over his hand and sees he has a cut on his palm. He winces in pain as she begins to treat the bleeding cut.

EMMALINA: What was it this time?
COREY: Just was working on that old truck behind Luca’s. Thing is ancient.
EMMALINA: What year?
COREY: 1980.

She looks at him with a raised eye brow before continuing to treat his hand. He makes a realization and closes his eyes.

COREY: I’m sorry. I…it’ not ancient. It’s just older.

She looks at him and he starts to nervously chuckle.

COREY: I…I like older. Older is good, you know. I mean it’s dependable. Sturdy. Great frame.

Emmalina continues to treat his hand while trying to not seem amused by him. She finishes up and takes her gloves off. He smiles at her and she slightly smiles back before she gets up and starts to put back the medical supplies. Corey gets up and starts to exit, but stops to face her.

COREY: Hey.
EMMALINA: Yes?
COREY: Thanks again.
EMMALINA: Try not to injure yourself again.
COREY: Doctor’s orders?
EMMALINA: Yes.
COREY: I’ve always been good at taking orders.

He gives her a wink and exits the clinic, leaving her to watch with a slight smile on her face.

:::::SCENE 6:::::

Next door to the clinic, in the makeshift pharmacy, Ashley Banks and Libby Clark organize medications on the shelves. Through the window, Ashley can see her younger sister Jessica smiling as she waves flirtatiously at Corey before entering the pharmacy.

JESSICA: Hello, single ladies.
ASHLEY: You’re late. Again.
JESSICA: Oh, it’s only by a few minutes. Relax, sis. Where do you need me?
LIBBY: You can help me organize these shelves.
JESSICA: Sure thing!

Jessica walks over and begins to help Libby while humming a cheery tune. Libby and Ashley both watch her curiously, causing Jessica to stop in the middle of putting a medicine bottle on the shelf.

JESSICA: What?
LIBBY: You’re in a cheery mood.
JESSICA: I’m always in a cheery mood.
ASHLEY: No. Not really.
JESSICA: I think you’re forgetting I’m the fun sister.
ASHELY: Hey! I’m fun.
LIBBY: Yes, your sister is very fun, Jess.

Jessica laughs and continues organizing the shelf. Sensing the other two women watching her she lets out a sigh and turns to face them.

JESSICA: If you must know, I just had sex.
LIBBY: Oh!

Libby starts to turn red and goes back to working on the shelves.

JESSICA: I’m not talking the one pump and done kind either.
ASHLEY: Alright that’s enou…
JESSICA: I’m talking mind blowing, end of the world, sweaty, dirty sex that keeps you shaking all the way down to your…
ASHLEY: Hey! We get it.

The trio starts to laugh and Jessica shrugs before turning back to her shelf.

JESSICA: You asked.
ASHLEY: I’m regretting it thoroughly.
JESSICA: Oh don’t be such a prude.
ASHLEY: I’m not, I just don’t care to imagine my baby sister engaging in intercourse.
JESSICA: That’s very formal of you Nurse Ashley.

Libby finishes her shelf and starts to walk away.

LIBBY: I’m going to go see if Dr. McKaulin needs anything.

Libby walks towards a door to the side of the room and enters the clinic, leaving the Banks sisters to themselves.

ASHLEY: So. Who was it?

Jessica turns to Ashley and gives her a sheepish grin with her eyebrow raised.

JESSICA: You really want to know?
ASHLEY: I wouldn’t have asked.
JESSICA: Tommy Ferrari.
ASHLEY: Luca’s son? He’s usually so quiet and polite.
JESSICA: And?
ASHLEY: And…I’m just surprised is all.
JESSICA: I know he’s not usually my type, but those biceps. Ugh.

Jessica starts to playfully fan herself causing Ashley to crack a smile.

ASHLEY: We’ve only been here a month.
JESSICA: So?
ASHLEY: So, just…be careful.
JESSICA: I am. Trust me, Tommy is very sweet and he’s easy to talk to.

Jessica looks around before turning to Ashley and lowering her voice.

JESSICA: But let’s just say that last name is oh so fitting.

She winks at Ashley who tries not to laugh.

JESSICA: Vroom! Vroom, baby!

:::::SCENE 7:::::

At Luca’s Italian Restaurant, Tommy Ferrari wipes down a table before picking up a stack of left behind plates. He carries it to the back of the restaurant and places it in the sink. As he washes the plates his older sister, Sophia, stands next to him with her back leaning against the counter.

SOPHIA: So, you and that Banks girl have been hanging out a lot lately.
TOMMY: So? What’s it to ya?
SOPHIA: Check that attitude, alright. All I’m pointing out is you need to be careful.
TOMMY: You don’t think I’m capable of handling myself?
SOPHIA: Based on recent events, no not really.
TOMMY: Are you going to help with these or just be a fly buzzing in my ear.

Sophia uncrosses her arms and turns towards the sink, keeping her eyes on Tommy as she starts to help with the dishes.

SOPHIA: When ma died you checked out. You just started being stupid.
TOMMY: We aren’t talking about this.
SOPHIA: Tommy, you got to get over it. But hooking up with that girl isn’t the way.
TOMMY: Why do you care?
SOPHIA: We’re family, stupid. I always care.

Tommy continues to focus on the cleaning the dishes in the sink as Sophia lets out a sigh.

SOPHIA: Just be careful alright.

She drys her hands with a towel, leans over and kisses his cheek before going back to the front of the restaurant. Moments later, Raymond Jung comes in from the back door of the restaurant that leads to an alleyway.

RAYMOND: Sorry, was helping Corey out with that truck out back.
TOMMY: How’s it running?
RAYMOND: It’s not now, but soon.

Tommy finishes the dishes and wipes his hands dry as Raymond heads to take out the trash. Tommy follows him outside and leans against the wall. As Raymond tosses the trash into the dumpster, Tommy pulls out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. Raymond walks over and leans against the wall next to Tommy as the two start to pass the lit cigarette back and forth.

RAYMOND: How are you and that Banks girl.
TOMMY: Jessica. Her name is Jessica.
RAYMOND: Easy, dude. How are you and Jessica?
TOMMY: Fine. Look I don’t need a lecture from you too.
RAYMOND: Hey, you know lectures aren’t my thing.
TOMMY: Sorry. I’m just tired of people telling me how to live my life.
RAYMOND: I get it. But, at least it means they love you.

Tommy takes one last long drag of the cigarette before handing it to Raymond and heading inside.

——Cut To——

Walking towards a table in the back of the restaurant, Sophia sees her father, Luca, sitting with Bruce Johnson and EJ Martinez. She walks over and takes a seat next to Luca.

LUCA: …And then the son of a bitch tells me Doctor Fancy Face is in charge. What is she going to do while he’s out there on a run? She may be the vice president, but she sure as hell doesn’t have what it take to lead a community.

Bruce and EJ take sips of their waters while avoiding agreeing or disagreeing with the restaurant owner. Luca looks over at Sophia who smiles at him and wraps her arms around his bicep.

SOPHIA: I agree 100 percent. You should be the president of Revco.
LUCA: Damn right I should be. Fucking hold an election based on majority vote. I was the one here before anyone. Before that prick, Richard Cline showed up acting like he owns the place. Out of respect, he should have let me be the president. I would have led this place with an iron fist.

Luca looks towards the two young men in front of him and smirks.

LUCA: That is why I asked to meet. To discuss my running in the next election.
BRUCE: You plan on running against Richard again?
LUCA: Of course. His pansy ass hasn’t done a damn thing.
EJ: Forgive me, but what exactly did you want to discuss with us?

Luca smiles and sits forward, resting his arms on the table.

LUCA: I’m inviting you to join my board once I’m elected.
EJ: Oh. But…why us?
LUCA: EJ, you’re a clear headed young man with a lot of potential. I see how you contribute around here. Bruce, you are already on the board and have proven to be able to hold your own. You two along with me, Tommy and Sophia could move mountains.

Sophia smiles widely as Luca sits back and smirks.

LUCA: So, what do ya say, boys? You in or you gonna be sleepin’ with the fishes?

Luca and Sophia let out a hearty laugh as Bruce and EJ nervously look at each other and chuckle.

BRUCE: It’s…quite an offer.
EJ: I will consider it.
BRUCE: As will I.

Luca becomes serious and looks at them for a long moment before nodding his head.

LUCA: Of course. Take some time. I’m sure you’ll come to find this offer is beneficial for all of us.

Luca shakes hands with Bruce and EJ before the two exit the restaurant.

SOPHIA: Do you think they will take the offer?
LUCA: Of course. If they know what’s good for them.

Luca stands up and starts to walk away.

SOPHIA: Daddy?
LUCA: Yes?
SOPHIA: Have you…thought about my suggestion?
LUCA: We’ve discussed this.
SOPHIA: I know, but…daddy, you know I’m better equipped than Tommy.
LUCA: Tommy will be my vice president. End of story.

Sophia slams her palm on the table causing Luca to turn around and glare at her.

SOPHIA: Tommy is not fit to be…
LUCA: That’s enough.

Luca glares at her before turning around and walking away. Sophia sits back in her chair and crosses her arms in anger. Tommy, meanwhile, listens from behind the door that leads to the back of the restaurant.

:::::SCENE 8:::::

As the large, front gate opens to the community of Revco, Todd leads the group inside. They look around and see a one road town with buildings on either side of the street. Just ahead of them, Bruce walks up to Todd and the two hug.

BRUCE: How did you…?
TODD: Long story. Is my dad here?
BRUCE: No, he and a group went out on a run. They should be back in a few days.

Todd turns to Eden, Zale, Chandler and Nate as he puts his arm around Bruce.

TODD: This is Bruce. Former journalist and now a member of my father’s board.
NATE: Board?
BRUCE: Yes, here in Revco we have a government of sorts. Richard, Todd’s father, was elected the president based on majority vote. The president selects a vice president and three others to serve on the board. As board members, we vote and make final decisions regarding the community.

Taking in the information and the environment around them, the foursome notice members of the community coming out of the buildings and looking at them. Among them are the Banks sisters, Libby, Corey, Emmalina, Dillon, Luca, Sophia, Tommy, Raymond and EJ.

TODD: Everyone, this is Eden, Zale, Chandler and Nate. Connected with them while making my way back here.

Just then a hush falls as a beautiful woman walks out of a nearby building. Her eyes fixated on Todd with a look of shock on her face. After a moment she runs up to him and pulls him into a tight embrace as Eden and the others look on.

TODD: Hey, Ofelia.
OFELIA: Todd, how are you…they told us you were dead!
TODD: I might as well beeen. But someone brought me back to reality.

He pulls away from Ofelia and looks over at Eden with a smile.

OFELIA: Your father is going to be so happy and shocked to see you.

She turns to face Eden, Zale, Chandler and Nate as a serious expression erases her happiness at seeing Todd alive and well.

OFELIA: Hello.
EDEN: Hi.

She turns to Todd and lowers her voice to almost a whisper.

OFELIA: You brought them here?
TODD: I did.
OFELIA: You know we can barely provide for those here already.
TODD: I’m aware, but they’re fighters. They can pull their own weight.

She turns and looks them over as the foursome stand there awkwardly until Zale walks up to her with his hand stretched out. Ofelia looks down at his dirty hand causing Zale to take is back.

ZALE: Thank you for letting us into your community. We’re happy to work for our stay her…
OFELIA: I’m sorry, but all newcomers must first be reviewed by the board.
ZALE: Oh. What do you mean?
TODD: Basically you will be individually interviewed to determine if you are beneficial to the community. If approved by the board’s majority you earn your stay here. If not, you must leave.

Chandler looks over at Nate who looks at Zale who looks at Eden. She turns to face Ofelia.

EDEN: When do we begin?
OFELIA: You will have to wait until President Cline returns.
ZALE: Which will be a few days?
OFELIA: Yes. Until then you will be placed in a holding cell.
ZALE: A what!?
CHANDLER: Excuse me?
NATE: Hold on a second. I didn’t sign up for no Orange Is The New Black stuff.

Ofelia looks to Todd who looks back ready to protest.

OFELIA: You know that is the protocol.
TODD: I’m aware, but…
OFELIA: But nothing.

Ofelia turns to the foursome.

OFELIA: Now, Bruce will escort you to the holding cell. Afterwards the board members currently here will meet with Todd to discuss if any of you should be released - provided that you are no danger to the Revco residents. Understood?

No one replies which causes Ofelia to smile.

OFELIA: Wonderful.

She starts to walk away but stops and turns to face Zale, Eden, Chandler and Nate.

OFELIA: One more thing. Relinquish your weapons.
CHANDLER: Come on, this is insane.
TODD: They will be returned to you following your release from the holding cell.

He turns to Eden and meets her eyes.

TODD: I promise you.

She stares back at him as she reaches to pull out her gun and knife. She hands them over to Bruce. Zale, Chandler and Nate watch and reluctantly follow her lead.

BRUCE: Alright, follow me.

The foursome starts to follow Bruce towards a nearby building.

OFELIA: Oh and by the way.

The foursome turns to look at her as a wide smile comes across her face.

OFELIA: Welcome to Revco!

An exciting episode! :) So glad to see the familiar faces again and meet the new characters.
This political power struggle should be interesting. I'm sensing some Game-of-Thrones vibes.
