This isn’t just a woman thing. I’ve found that it’s common across all genders and age groups to get what you would want as a gift for someone else. Just the other day my boyfriend came home from the grocery store and said he got a treat for me! The treat was a type of cookie that HE likes. And when I was a teenager my dad was obsessed with flatscreen TVs. He got me a flatscreen TV for Christmas one year even though I never expressed wanting one.

I mean I don't think that's true. I think women who do that use that as an excuse to buy sad lingerie. So they be liars....
