A while after the Chris Brown debacle, Rihanna was briefly linked to her What's My Name? collaborate Drake, and the rapper revealed later that he felt as though the singer played him!
She's since been dating Matt Kemp, but during a recent interview, she explained why she felt her prior fling didn't work out!
She says:
"We weren't really sure what it was. I definitely was attracted to Drake, but I think it is what it is - like it was what it was… We didn't want to take it any further. It was at a really fragile time in my life, so I just didn't want to get too serious with anything or anyone at that time."
Makes sense to us!
And we can totally understand the feeling Drake had that he was played! Rihanna just clearly wasn't ready to be in something serious - not that we blame her!
It's too bad that it didn't work out, but hey! At least they still have an awesome song and music video together!
