So i entered another fasting with winning on the mind, not just making the finals. At the final 5 i'm in a tight four person alliance, and i convince part of my alliance to vote out my closest ally, JessicaElle , because she was clearly my biggest threat to win. I'm all set to go to the final 3 with the rest of my alliance when the non-alliance member somehow wins POV. I am nommed and evicted in an all but randomly decided tie vote. And so, after controlling the game and practically guaranteeing my victory, i have experienced my first major disappointment on this site.
Hopefully luck is on my side next time, and i don't become evicted due to 2 consecutive random events.
And sorry, JessicaElle , u were my favourite person out there. Hope u understand why i had u evicted. Although, in hindsight, i guess i should have stuck with u..
As i expected, my fasting games have become much more interesting. I made it to the final 3 in both my third and fourth games, and though i didnt win either, i am happy that i now know how to get far and strategize well. My biggest mistake has been playing to make the finals, but not to win. I didnt take out the threats to win in my alliance. Fix this and hopefully i can win in the near future.
I know i can play the game. Now i just have to win.
Played my first game last night, did pretty good. Thanks to everyone who helped me get so far despite my lack of much strategizing! Now that I have a better idea of how it all works my next games should be interesting...
