I’m still upset that S23 was so fucking fantastic, only for Tyra to steal her show back and give us S24, one of the most moronic and non sensical season. Maggie 1st boot? The fuck? Casting of Brendi K and Liz who were both bat shit crazy. Blatant rigging for Jeana who was probably the most difficult contestant behind the scenes, just to rig her back into the show and then not even crown her bitch ass, and then giving the win to Kyla (WHO?) over Khrystyana…. Who was one of the best contestants the show had seen in a decade. Absolute asinine season compared to how fantastic 23 was.
Tyra rly kicked Rita to the curb but kept Rita’s panel of judges…. Just to give us the worst season ever. No wonder we never got a S25
God if only they would revitalize ANTM and give Rita another shot at hosting, there were a few questionable decisions on 23 but otherwise it blew so many recent seasons away.

Blogging because I just saw last night S23 got put on Hulu, I’ve been looking to rewatch S23 since it aired since it was just that fucking great of a season and it hasn’t been available anywhere (I’m gathering because Tyra only wanted the seasons she hosted to be out there)
Honestly I do think if they revived it ... Tyra probably would act differently because a lot of the problematic things she did was like 10+ years ago. I just feel like there's a huge chance the show will be boycotted if Tyra is the host due to people hating her nowadays.
semajdude I partially agree, I feel like 21 was a great season in spite of the rigged winner, and 23 is a ton of fun, otherwise yeah all those other late seasons suck bad.
