Hiya tengaged!On Tuesday i was placed in a difficult situation and i was wondering if you could give me your opinions and perhaps advice.
A few days ago i was in a cafe when i saw one of my best friends from middleschool. She had long black hair (which was originally blonde) and her makeup was smudged all over her face. She saw me and sat with me and she said we should catch up so i gave her my phone number and my address.
That night she phoned me. she was crying, but i couldn't understand what she was saying (due to the tears). I asked her if she wanted to talk face to face and she said she would come to me. i said i would meet her as she sounded like she was in no state to walk around new york on her own
we met at a bus station in queens. i walked her back to my house and when we got to my apartment she told me everything ; how shortly after middle school her father died and she plunged her self into a life of self abuse, how she would slit her wrists and deliberately have unprotected sex. She said that one of the people who she had sex with got her pregnant, and she was forced to give up her baby due to her severe living conditions. She also told me that she is currently in an abusive relationship, and that her boyfriend abuses her both physically and mentally. I asked her if i should tell the police but she said no as she know he really loves. I told her it would be best to stay with me for a couple of months, and she agreed.
So what should i do. should i confront her boyfriend? should i phone the police? I'm really confused and any advice would be apreciated

well I would confront to the BF ask him why he is doing thst to her, and tell her she went through tough time. also if that continues, i would suggest calling the police
