Bisping vs. GSP: Probably the one I'm least hyped for out of the three title fights, ironic considering it's the headliner. That being said, I'm still very curious and interested in this fight. Bisping has only done money fights and hasn't really fought a true contender (Can argue Silva but he fought him way past his prime) and GSP has been inactive 4 years.
That being said, I LOVE me some GSP and Bisping is a great trash talker. It'll be nice to see what kind of fight can be made.
I think I'm going to give Bisping the edge by TKO in the 3rd Round... it's going to be super close though.
Cody Garbrandt vs T.J Dillashaw: This is probably going to be hands down, the best fight of the year. A TOTAL slugfest and I'm so flipping excited. Cody being Dominick Cruz was so shocking in UFC 207, like literally more shocking than Amanda Nunes beating down Ronda Rousey imo (I figured RR would lose since her mental has been all screwed up from Holly Holm)
After that amazing performance from Cody, and the fact that T.J himself couldn't best Dominick. I'm going for Cody Garbrandt - .... TKO in the 2nd.
I could see him taking it to UD like Dominick, but I see Cody winning this fight.
Joanna "Joanna Champion" Jedrejyzck (?) vs. Rose Namajunas: Biggest women's fight of the year for me by a mile. I LOVE me some JJ, she is just an elite level fighter and the most technical women's striker in the history of MMA. I would even argue that on a genderless basis as well.
Rose Namajunas is known for pulling off crazy flying armbars, I think JJ will beat Rose down and she'll break Ronda's record of most female title defenses, but Rose does have an underdog chance and I won't count her out.
Prediction is Joanna winning by Unanimous Decision. I'm really looking forward to this!!!!!
