Zuelke I did actually and you said first you werent going out of your way to not see spoilers...Again IF you know certain places are known for spoilers why go there before you see it...Its like walking through a known brier patch barefoot and saying I know it may be my fault for being barefoot but why shouldn't I be able to walk there barefoot...Is it annoying sure maybe but its the age we live in...Its what ppl do and its what shows want...Entertainment use to center around ratings now it centers around social footprints so they encourage and do things to entice live viewer interaction...
NexusCain fyi i have avoided the tg blogs page and turned notifications off on big skype chats that were spoiling the episodes and i still get spoilers. my efforts were clearly futile and im not going to disconnect from the internet just to watch a fucking show. i distinctly remember watching an episode as soon as it came out and i got a notification from nicolef MID EPISODE spoiling what happened.
the point of my blog is that i shouldn't HAVE to unplug just to enjoy a fucking show. people could use spoiler buttons on the blogs page or make spoiler-permitted skype chats where they can talk about the show, and they choose NOT TO. like i said, big brother is the only show where people go out of their way to make sure anyone and everyone hears about what happens in the most recent episode of big brother, even if they haven't watched it.
Zuelke and my point is its literally the culture we live in and is encouraged by said shows...It may seem to you its just Big Brother as thats the one you focus on but I assure you its virtually every popular show, sporting event, etc...Trust I get its annoying but unless you are going to change an entire culture options you really have are to avoid until you can watch or accept its gonna happen...Now people that go out of their way to single you out are just pricks...

Actually on tengaged, on skype I’ve only experienced this problem with big brother
The blog page it may be more branched out, but in the past like 2 hours I’ve gotten multiple skype chats spoil only Big Brother specifically and have hardly seen any other show spoiled in 3 separate chats ever
Kaseyhope101 like anything what you see depends on those you surround yourself with...So if you are in a group that love BB you will see more of that and its the one show that the most Tengagers follow (some may try to dispute its Survivor)...I literally see this same argument regularly made about various shows in my personal day to day...In reality though what can you do about it where there is a public forum there will be those who choose not to follow what could be deemed acceptable social protocol for various reasons...
Back when I still cared about this issue (thankfully the quality of BB has dropped so drastically I don't care too much anymore), I literally had to avoid the blogs page. I'm not great at watching TV unless I'm binge watching, so I'd always fall behind and have everything spoiled on the blogs page.
For me a lot of the problem was with the people with the live feeds. I don't watch live feeds because honestly, they're boring. I like the edited TV show. Nonetheless, its impossible to watch while on Tengaged.

MichelleObama and the people doing it can make handy use of the spoiler button. it's not that hard. as for skype chats, you can easily make a skype chat to talk about big brother as it happens.

Zuelke, its not a spoiler if it happens live on tv when people should be watching. If it was a prerecorded show or people posting jokersupdates or talking about feeds i guess thats a spoiler. But literally its a live show, where the show itself encourages live tweeting and discussion as its airing, the whole world isnt gonna stop because you cant make it to a tv on thursday nights, thats all on you
