agreed so much. im only in junior year right now and its still stressful as hell. classes, research, athletics, job/internship search, other extracurriculars. its deathly. colleges should def do something to lighten the workload

honestly here’s my take

all non major requirements/prereqs should be pass or fail cuz gen eds

you get to use one semester 12 credits just to job search / get mentorship on resume applications case interviews etc

and stop requiring thesis for undergrad students so useless 3pi14159

vixens 12 credits a semester is hella though maybe like 3 credits a semester for your last 4 semesters? and i havent done thesis shit yet but i can see why its stupid for undergrads. pass fail is an interesting take bc it makes sense but it kinda motivates students not to give their best. honestly id say get professors to set the standard lower. cuz at my school at least if you actually somewhat try and put in a little bit of effort in the gen eds its a free A and if ur a lazy sack of shit you get a B or even a C if you dont really care. my college is kinda skewed towards higher GPAs though i feel
