i literally have no life and love talking about stars on tengaged.com so i decided i'm gonna make a blog series talking about my experience in every single stars game i've played. obviously some will be more exciting than others, seeing as i have varied placements/memories of each game, but i think this will be a lot of fun if u wanna be tagged just say so and i'll tag u in future blogs. (aka if u comment at all im gonna start tagging u)
ok so this one is about the stars i WON so i have a lot to say about it and remember a lot of it pretty well
right off the bat i need to address that this was a 15 person stars. the enrollment glitched so the final 2 was completely decided by algo so does this really count as a win? who knows but to me it does because i know i deserved it.
day 1, i think this was the first and last time that i made a chat on the first day. i know people like thnksfrthmmrs, KrisStory, GentlemanG, iTy990, i think @LoveLife, and Novamax243 were in it, and maybe a few others. however, julian then added #Aquamarine to the chat. i was fine with more numbers, but he very quickly seemed like a loose cannon. i don't remember what the other set was, but when i heard johnny's name as an option, i took the chance by flipping on my OWN CHAT and nommed johnny/ Mahalpin11 for 15th.
on day 2 i have no idea what the other set was, but i know mine once again went through. i know nikki101 was in the other set which i remember for later reasons, but i had quickly formed an early bond with her as well. julian suspected me of flipping on the chat and made it clear that he didn't trust me so i had no issue nomming him, but nomming nathan was tough. i knew i had the numbers but like 20 minutes before DC, nathan and nikki came to me with a plan to split to save each other. i agreed but knew that i would be nomming nathan and he would be going up anyways. i sat on call with them as dc happened and had to pretend to be surprised/upset that the split didn't work lol.
gotta be honest i don't really remember much of day 3 so i will now mention the most important part of the game. i think by this time, i don't remember exactly when, i had formed a final 4 alliance of myself, GentG, Kris, and iTy. it was also around this time that we realized that mysterygame2 and Thetrumpetman423 (one of whom had ClassiCaz5 on their account, don't remember which) were just completely sheeping nikki. we knew this would be a threat to us, so we decided that we would have to break up those connections sooner rather than later.
this leads into day 4 where we successfully convince Novamax, who was also sheeping nikki, to flip on her and get her up with a sheep. we probably said something like "she will stay so you can still work with her" or something but in the end it worked out!
however, this ended up causing nova to be a target from nikki the next day. i don't remember the exact sets, but it ended up splitting. idk if anyone in my alliance split or not, but this was a blow to me seeing julian stay over an ally to me.
tbh i don't remember the day after that whatsoever so i'm just gonna move on
the next day was also pretty simple, getting nikki up with her last remaining fully loyal sheep in the game.
we then managed to get 2 of the big 3 popularity threats (julian/pizza/nikki) up with each other, then getting nikki up with mahal who was the last person left that wasn't in the core.
then noms for 6th came to be. i know me/kris was a set, and the other set was most likely pizza/nikki. however, me and kris BOTH tried to split on each other, as well as ray splitting on me and iTy splitting on kris i think. this caused me and Kris to go up together, and i only stayed because jenzie really hated kris for some reason and got all her friends to evict him LMFAO.
i also realized that ray probably lied and nommed me, as well as knowing that bryan wouldn't nom me (he had said all game that he was playing to help me win), so i decided to nom ray with nikki because he would go. he also got mad at me for this fter the game but also admitted that he nommed me first so i don't really get that but oh well hes a king!
ity then volunteered to go up for 4th with pizza, knowing he would probably go, but i'm pretty sure to pizza/nikki it looked like a split.
however, noms for 3rd have to happen because of the 15 person glitch. i knew i was likely gonna be safe because the numbers would look like this
however, when i was doing the math, i realized that nikki could expect this and throw her vote onto ity instead of pizza and have it tie between pizza/myself because if i went up she would have a much easier poll.
knowing this, i messaged her and was like "listen nikki, i feel really bad about how much i lied to you this game. i think you deserve to make finals, so i will throw my vote onto ity/pizza so that you don't have to go up again"
i felt kinda bad because of how thankful she was and how betrayed she felt when she went up AGAIN, but it was the only way to absolutely 100% make sure i would not go up again.
then the final 2 algo happened of me vs nikki and i WON my only fucking stars.
thank you to anyone who read this, this is one of my favorite stars to talk about because i think it was one of my first signs of being a truly great player. i know i had made 2 finals before, but this was in my opinion, my first truly dominating game where i was the clear best player with the most control. even within my alliance i knew for a fact that ity wouldnt turn on me and that if i were to go up against any of them, i had a fair shot in the poll (which is a strategy i still like to use to this day)
