Today Chris Kratt asked everyone to find ways to celebrate and protect animals in honor of World Wildlife Day. When Chris and his brother Martin were 80's teenagers, they decided to create the first wildlife show aimed at kids. During post-college field work in Madagascar, Costa Rica, and Peru, they started filming their silly-serious shows on VHS, but networks rejected them until a PBS executive's son loved their demo. Soon, Kratt's Creatures was a sensation with both kids and adults, and Chris is still dedicated to conservation today.
