Generation X was known to be more concerned about pop culture rather than the world around them. My mom always talks about movies, music, tv shows, etc from the 80's.
I think that correlates to IGEN ( aka my generation. ) we are always so worried about silly things on our phones rather than what is going on in the government.
Whereas, I feel like the millennials and baby boomers are more actively involved in politics.
