I did it for a while, I would never ever do it again.
It was good money some days, but god the way people talk to you is disgusting.
I worked at a BBQ chain restaurant, i had a guy throw garlic bread at me one time.
95% of servers don’t make $1000 a week lol.
I provided great service, but I made about $130-$250 a night on the weekends. (Usually 8 hour shifts. )
I was paid $2.13 a hour, so anytime that I had side work or had to stay over I was getting paid nothing. My paychecks were always $0.
Everything depends on a variety of factors. I’m so much happier at job with consistent pay vs making $25 a night because it was slow and bad tippers or maybe have a night I made $300. Too much inconsistency.

I was a Delivery Driver it was not really worth it in my eyes my average was $100 a night after gas the most I made was $180 and the least I made was $60 wayyyy too many variables to even talk about it was truly a asshole hat draw to see who was gonna make money and who didn't
I love tipping waiters because they're on their feets all-day whilst dealing with rude customers but my only issue with tipping is, apparently a lot of bosses steal a cut of their tips so I usually try to sneak them tips instead of doing it in the open.
