In the knockouts/battles he usually pairs up a country singer with a singer who doesn't sing country, and when the other singer does a 100x better performance, he just picks the country singer to move on and robs the other singer of a win.
And when a non-country singer makes it to the live playoffs, he gives that singer all country songs and tries to turn him/her into a country singer.
