So my mom owes me $10. If I give her a $10 bill, and she gives me a $20, we鈥檙e square, right? She insists that I鈥檓 scamming her, somehow. I鈥檓 not going crazy, am I?

If she owes you $10 and you give then her $10 more, then she owes you $20. So if she then gives you $20 then you鈥檙e square
